    If you pay for premium membership, you can still watch it using Timeshift. It's only 540 yen/month and you can cancel the membership anytime. I've done that so many times over the years. But if you do, make sure to not click the timeshift button unless you're ready to watch, since the recording is only available for 24 hours or so after you've started watching.

    Not sure where to put this, but Merry just announced that they'll be broadcasting their tour final this Sunday live on nicovideo. Tetsu is making a comeback as well!

    Yes sad, hopefully this is the last time he needs to play with BORN members. I hope Makoto has the capability to play with better mates next time.

    but hey, I liked that guy! Truth to be told, cali gari's session drummer during the tour in May (tetsu of D'erlanger to be exact) was exceedingly good in that the drumming was prominently existent in the songs performed, as compared to concerts with Makoto previously so...

    That's the best strategy (if you don't mind waiting a while to hear a release)

     

    Well, I only buy if no one uploads it after a couple of years (yes, I'm a bad fan, I know), especially if the band is relatively unknown or have lost popularity. I bought the entirety of FAKE?'s DVD discography for 1 yen each (not a typo; really 1 yen each) via Amazon; even its shipping cost of 300 yen is higher. Of course, there's the waiting for the price to drop before it disappears; I waited for Jelly's last live 2000 yen DVD to drop and the following year I checked (I visit Japan yearly), it wasn't there anymore. And the Sugar "Sweet room" DVD I bought for 1000yen in 2013 still have copies in Closet Child going for 300 yen in 2015 now zzzzz. Do check Amazon and especially its sub-retailers in the program; you can get really good deals for older releases!

    PSC doesn't have much of a say of their sound? Alice Nine and Kagrra, totes would disagree with you on that matter lmao (the latter was actually involved in a scandal which might have led to their desired departure 'til Isshi's death happened - Tomomi's revelations have been up around here in Japanese btw)

    Care to share what the scandal is about? And who's Tomomi? The PSC head? I have never heard of this until now!

    They are selling the DVD at today's Shinagawa Stellar Ball gig WTF. And those 12 songs on the album doesn't add up to the 90 mins advertised on the DVD; at least 1/2 the DVD is attributed to backstage footage I guess? And they ain't gonna release their last 2 concerts with Makoto???

    I love this band, but this DVD looks fucking awful. It looks cheap as fuck and it looks like there's put no thought and love into it at all. Looks like a simple money grabber. It seriously looks like one of the bootlegs you find around the web where a friend of a rather unknown band brought his own camera to tape it to promote the band on the itnernet. It's just sad. A fantastic band like Heidi should do something better than this.

     

     

    PS: I seriously hope the DVD is a lot different form the clip posted in this thread. The band deserve so much more than that.

     

    The clip's not a ad for the DVD; ESP Musical Academy Hall doesn't look like that.

    This band is enraging. Is there like some really good reason for these fanclub only releases? Is this leftover material they have from the sessions of the last LP that Ao burns on super market bought discs and then releseases them through the fanclub in effort to skip paying for distribution and stuff.

    Well at least that they're not disbanding means that I could one day just maybe see them live.

    My guess is that they have no confidence in sales? Given that their last few DVDs are fan-club only/live-limited. In their last few concerts,

     

    1. you can get a free CD that contains an unreleased song (song A) if you were to buy more than 5000 yen worth of goods

    OR

    2. free CD with song B if you buy a specific (ugly) t-shirt and spend more than 5000yen worth of goods in all.

     

    One of the songs is just an un-cali gari-ish instrumental track WTF
