  1. No no no That would be horrible, DIR EN GREY is not a theater band.

Actually this is what pretty much everyone was expecting, the news just came a little late. This has potential to become one of the best albums of 2011, that is if all songs are gonna be as awesome as the last few singles.

    Very interesting title...

What part is it that you don't understand? I bet you didn't even listen to that song. Of course the majority of the songs and artists of the ESF are crap, but Italy's entry this year had class. q6Hz3MxthYI

What a horrible album cover, lol. Looking forward to the album though.

The best song BY FAR came from Italy. Nice to see they climbed to second place in the end. Bosnia & Herzegovina had a nice song too and then there were like 2 or 3 mediocre songs and the rest sucked.

  8. Did they say anything about the length of the song? Because that description could easily fit a long song of say 6-8 minutes.

B-b-b-bu-b-... but I like Soldier of Fortune. I'll try the ones you suggested now.
  10. LOL @ people going mad about "Dir En Grey" on last.fm right now. Did they change the capitalization of the band again? It was "DIR EN GREY" first.

Has EZO been mentioned yet? "Here It Comes", "Kiss of Fire" among other songs are incredible. Before EZO they were called Flatbacker but I prefer their two albums under the EZO name. I gotta check out other Loudness albums. I've only heard Soldier of Fortune so far. What's the best album to go to next?
  12. I hope he adds The Netherlands to the list this time. Seeing the tour was a big success last year, it would be strange not to visit some more countries.
  13. It's possible, but it'll have to be fucking outstanding.

In all honesty... that was VERY (and I hate to use this word but...) GENERIC. I don't mind if they keep playing the same style of music over and over but at least change the songs. This one recycles a lot of melodies, especially the vocals, from earlier songs. Hopefully there's more new stuff on the whole album because this Masquerade song is not good enough.
  15. I think it's stupid how some folks gain an extremely negative attitude towards a band when they play at some convention. I don't even like anime so much myself, but it's just silly to think it's "cool" when you talk bad about a band only because they do a show at some anime related event. Sure you may dislike an artist but that's got nothing to do with where they perform. Who the hell cares where they play? SEIKIMA-II performed at the Japan Expo last year and they kick ass.

I think he would answer something along these lines: They were mostly acting stupid to look punk. It was comedy. In lots of interviews they were just acting silly because it would attract attention. They were told to. Their attitude was "fake", so therefore, not a "legitimate" punk band. This famous interview is a perfect example of that: He later said he did it for the show. He wouldn't give such dumb answers himself. Anyway, on-topic: Will Smith should be extremely embarrassed and he is very stupid to let her do this. She has NO talent whatsoever and is being treated like a doll for the music industry.
  17. Aww no Netherlands. Good choice of festivals though.
  18. This. Can't wait to get my hands on it. Must have.

The Gameboy Color game was awesome. I still have it with 99 (maximum) of almost all the cards except for the special promo stuff. It's such a shame they never released another game like that outside of Japan. There are so many possibilities for that... loads of sets, multiplayer battles, tournaments, an in-game marketplace to trade rare cards, etc. Damn how I would love that game. And I remember having a Charizard of the first TCG set made you king of the playground at school.
  20. Wow I'm surprised. I didn't expect to like it so much. Sono is singing wonderfully here. And even though it's simple and short, it really does the job. Nice one, Matenrou
  21. I've listened to them a lot recently. Pretty much everything Asai Kenichi lays his hands on turns golden. This was an amazing project with lots of beautiful songs. But I'm not too sad about the disbandment. We got PONTIACS now. As long as Asai Kenichi doesn't retire from the music scene, all is good. That man is a genius.

I think the special might be the band performing at some Japan/Anime/J-music/somethingalongthoselines convention. Just a guess though.
  23. Well, it's still not saturday.
  24. I think they would kill that song if they remake it. But I would love to see them play it live. Without altering it too much because it's good as it is...
