"with some wonderful songs" You actually said it right there. Not all of their songs are wonderful. Last single was pretty damn awful. It was like they weren't even trying anymore. Now some samples of the new album actually sound pretty decent again. That's where the love/hate relationship comes from.

I found a listenable 192 kbps rip. Listening to it right now. It's alright. Kind of disappointing when you think about that this is all you get after a long time of no Evanescence. It's not "bad" by any means, but it's not an album you'd put on repeat for days.

I had that too! Sold it some years ago though. It was fun but had to be replaced with the original. "Hey let's play Monopoly?", "Yes, sounds great, go get the game!" and then return with the Pokemon edition. Imagine the faces.

Anyway, I like how Born to be Wild made it to the album. Cool stuff.

The Settlers of Catan and Monopoly are the only two I still play regularly. Chess is cool too but you can only play that with 2 players, and it requires way more thinking, a much longer time for each move. There's no bargaining or economy or anything like that either. So it's less fun, more competition. I got 3 expansions for Settlers to create huge maps and tons of variations. Love it.

I predict failure. They're ruining Max Payne's legacy this way. First two games were stunning because of the dark intense atmosphere. How are they going to achieve that with this action oriented hollywood style game? That's only based on the trailer of course. And a few images. But it seems they're trying too hard to make it look "cool", actually resulting in the exact opposite.

Omega seems to be the outro but it would've made a better intro. Well, judging from this short sample at least. If it's a full song then it's even better. Some booooring stuff on these previews, but a few nice things too. Also, some things sound like songs girugamesh could've done during their MUSIC era.

That would be too awesome. Master trolling. Anyway, in two weeks from now, everyone will have already forgotten about the whole countdown. So it won't matter much. Unless they stop activities till they reach that date. Then it's a long wait... I wish for a world tour. But I guess that'd be too good to be true. Coincidentally I just listened to BUCK-TICK today for the first time in like months. Should listen to them more.

The Little Mary song is quite odd. The rest is fine.

I enjoyed Nightmare, they weren't spectacular but the covers are alright. I like how Sadie got the nerve to add those sort-of-creepy screaming voices to put their own signature on the song. It worked pretty well. Doesn't touch Marilyn Manson's version though. That one still rules. Plastic Tree was kind of depressing but in a good way. Good cover. Ryuichi was by far the best on this album. I'm not quite sure what he is doing here among those bands. He's the odd one out. His vocals are by far the best and the song kind of suits him too. I don't care about the others. They were plain bad and forgettable.

Holy shit this just made my day! Now if only these new songs are going to be a mix of their new style and old style... that would be the greatest thing ever. EVER. DEAD END = love!

I love how there are always more people bitching over people who criticize the GazettE than people who actually criticize the GazettE. There's nothing offensive going on here. It only starts to get offensive when people say "LOL anyone who listens the GazettE is a moron". But so far nobody said such things so I don't see a problem. Also, talking about the originality (or lack of..) of this single or how boring/exciting it is, is completely ON topic because this thread is about saying your thoughts on this single, right? Comparisons to the GazettE's other music is also completely ON topic because using that you can express how you feel about this single. Whether they improved or went downhill or stayed exactly the same. The most off-topic posts here are actually, ironically, posted by the moderators. I find this single to be 100% generic, dull, boring, etc. It feels like mass production music. Just dishing some stuff out just to have something released. Make it a bit catchy with some parts being very recognizable from previous works, but altered a tiny little bit, and hope it'll sell. Sounds effortless. After listening to it two more times... I think this is the worst single they've released to date IMHO. Most singles had at least 1 good song. This has none.

No offense or anything, but sometimes you could just shut up. You make yourself look like an idiot. He is right about "Gazette has not always been like that" and the look-I'm-cool attitude of CAT5 this time though.

Eh, the GazettE has certainly made more interesting songs than these new ones. "Always have been. Get over it." is just really sad IMO, because it just makes it look like you can't hear the difference between a Disorder song, a DIM song and now this. Remember the Urge IS generic, I agree with you on that. And plenty of songs past DIM were also generic. But to say that everything on DIM and before DIM is generic too is just madness.

Not a single song on this cd was even slightly interesting... Wow, this might be their worst single yet. Or I'm just growing tired of the GazettE. Or quite possibly both. I'll be interested again if they do another DIM kind of thing... because right now they're just boring.

I couldn't stop laughing when I was playing the demo and the narrator said THAT VOICE! Anyway, I just started a new game of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion because I just can't wait for Skyrim to finally arrive. Oblivion is huge! There are so many things to collect... so many quests. Even with these outdated graphics which are shit compared to today's standards, the game's still awesome. I can't even imagine what Skyrim is gonna be like!
