Graphics look good. Battlesystem has been improved. Players get a bit more freedom and time for exploration earlier on in the game. So far, so good. But the dialogues are so extremely cheesy and downright BAD that I'm just skipping through them all rather quickly. Maybe read a few lines... but I just don't give a fuck. The plot itself has some nice elements but the way it's brought is really weak. One-liners that don't impress and cliche lines all over. If this was a movie script it would have been even worse than Avatar. And the characters... I remember some Final Fantasy games which had a variety of personalities. There was the arrogant bitch. The wise old guy. The reckless young guy. The sweet girl. The -I don't give a fuck about anything because I'm a boss- guy. Etcetera. However, in XIII-2 there's only ONE: the extremely insecure ignorant rookie. All of them act the same and all characters lack charisma and willpower. None are even remotely interesting. Boring cast. I have mixed feelings about this game. Gameplay-wise it's quite enjoyable, but the plot is brought to us like a bad teenage movie... starring insecure teenagers. What were they thinking?

I'm looking forward to Syndicate now that I've played the demo. Finally a quality FPS after all the Call of Duty garbage that's been thrown at us. Besides that game, GTA 5 IF it comes out this year.

Curious, could be anything.

xTRiPx Blu-BiLLioN 【_Vani;lla】 DIS★Marionette And all other bands who mess around with fancy symbols or strange capitalization in their names. There are a few exceptions (like exist†trace) but those aren't as bad as the examples above. Also, all names in terrible English, for example: 凛 -the end of corruption world-. Seriously? It would have to be either The End of Corruption or The End of the Corrupted World, but definitely not -end of corruption world- ...

This song started out real cheesy, and has its cheesy moments throughout the rest of the song but it's still enjoyable. The chorus does sound awfully familiar though. It's like I've heard it a million times before by some other band...

2 new songs per version would've been promoted as 3 seperate 2-song singles with release dates most likely spread out over the course of 2 months or so. Like mentioned before in this topic, this is just typical moneymilking with as few new material as possible. Another option would've been creating 2 more songs to release a 6-song mini-album. But that wouldn't be as profitable I guess. Not like I'd buy any of the singles if they continue with their boring music streak. They better release something good now.

They couldn't have stabbed themselves with a knife any deeper than this. Sometimes I feel like the marketing folks and promotors in the entertainment business have lost their touch with reality. As if they have no clue what's going on in the world outside of their own offices.

Don't even bother... it's no better than Shallow Life. It's a bad pop album in disguise. A few boring guitar riffs pretending to be rockin' and Andrea's rough vocals try to cover up the extremely mediocre pop rock songs this whole album consists of. The more I think about it the worse it gets. What they're doing is terrible. They started out great with the first few beautiful albums and eventually became huge sell outs by making this shit. Karmacode was very much acceptable even though it didn't show their full potential, but Shallow Life was a big bore... and now Dark Adrenaline which is complete bullshit. Lacuna Coil, what the fuck have you done to your band... where's the magic gone? I've rarely been so disappointed in a band which I've known for quite some years.

And you're not embarrased to hang out with these people? Can't people just keep these perverse fantasies to themselves? How hard would that be?

I saw a movie last night, called "The Lady from Shanghai". It stuck with me so well that I dreamt about it. I was the main character but instead of following the original script I decided not to go with the plan that was proposed to me at some point. The dream took a different direction from there and I eventually ended up as the boss of the abandoned themepark at the end of the movie and I became rich... before I was shot to the chest in one of my own attractions in a similar setting as the movie (you'd know which scene if you saw the movie). Then I woke up as I fell to the ground while holding my hand to my chest. I woke up like that too. It was quite exciting indeed. All in black and white of course, like the movie. Damn, that was awesome... But why is it that in all the greatest dreams I eventually die?

12389 songs, 881 hours, 103 GB Forever growing.

For anyone interested: the new album is all over the internet now but the leaked rip is hardly listenable. Sounds like shit. I'm pretty sure it's 128 kbps or less. Couldn't stand more than 3 songs myself. Hopefully a better rip pops up soon.

There's 1 CD with Shuuji on vocals and a second CD which can be considered as a "bonus" with Makoto doing the vocals. Yeah, it's been released but a free download is not out in the open yet. Guess it'll take a few days.

I think D'ERLANGER fans deserve a mention here as well. Once upon a time they were also considered part of the visual kei thing after all. They're all nice people. No drama, ever. Same goes for the DEAD END fandom. Kagrra, fans are friendly too even though I've seen some idiots who wrote stuff like "you're not a real fan if Core is your favorite album". But those guys are everywhere... around every artist in existance.
-
As expected I'm very excited for this!

Or you could do one about a populair (ex)visual kei guy who is actually still alive. Like Kyo, Ruki or someone else. Oh, the shitstorm that would cause...

Actually, the "new" direction they went in wasn't so new at all. They just started recycling more. Mashing a few older songs together in a way to create a very recognizable tune and adding a bit of girugamesh's MUSIC album while they're at it... I wouldn't call that a new direction? To me that sounds like a car running out of gas and because there's no proper fuel around they switched to a different fuel which ultimately damaged the performance of the car. The gap between the greatness of DIM and the disappointment called TOXIC is quite large. I wonder if DIM packed their last good ideas. Their music is getting tiresome now, so I can see where the rumors came from and I really wouldn't care if they disbanded.

Eldritch of The Sisters of Mercy and that vocalist (forgot the name) of The 69 Eyes. Although they're not Japanese, they're pretty good at what they do.

Not a Japanese band, but I recently listened to the new The Subways album: Money and Celebrity. I instantly felt like I got teleported into the room of a 14 year old tasteless girl. This is barely any better than the Jonas Brothers. So, how come that other people of around my age seem to like this childish garbage?

I have no experience with datingsites and I don't intend to ever try such a thing. But I am curious about this though... why does your mother want you to sign up for one? Did she meet her current boyfriend/husband that way? I can't think of any other logical explanation. You're only 18 years old. To be honest, I always thought datingsites are much more suited for "older" people (say 40+) because they don't go out as often anymore. Harder to meet someone I guess... that's where the internet kicks in. Honestly, at your age I don't think the internet is necessary for this.

Drink It Down, Nexus 4 and Shine are good songs... from 3 years ago. "Alright, our most recent singles sucked balls and since we are incapable of making anything decent right now we'll just fill the album with our last good material" ??? I'm not excited. L'Arc is pretty much dead.

In no particular order except for DIR EN GREY at the top, I think that's the best 2011 album. DIR EN GREY - Dum Spiro Spero LUNA SEA - LUNA SEA (2011) The Kills - Blood Pressures Black Country Communion - 2 MERRY - Beautiful Freaks

It was supposed to be released today. I hope it's not delayed? Looking forward to this anyway.

I don't care at all. Why wouldn't someone else compose the music if he/she's better at it? What difference would it make if you found out that band X doesn't write all of their own songs? Does it change the music? No, it's still as good (or as bad) as before. In the end it's just the result that matters, not the path they took to achieve that result.
