They dropped a dvd for that bogus first world tour and there were no full performances. This will most likely be the same. If not, we would've got wind of a setlist composed of what songs from what shows/venues would be showcased.

Its mostly just for show and nothing more on top of that. A lot of what they do can easily be considered metalcore and done with a 6 string. 7 string's are nice because it offers more range and they allegedly sound better/heavier so that gets a pass. Anything more than that, i see as a ploy for attention. I can be wrong and maybe they can pull something even more great with this single with the use of an 8 string. But I am not counting on it.

A lot of us seem to be either (rightfully) haunted by Dir en grey's Unraveling or have Dir en grey goggles on when the word rerecorded comes into play. I'm convinced that these are just going to be fresher sounding rerecordings. Nothing more, nothing less. I didn't listen to the first Traces album but I'ma go ahead and assume that this was the case there as well. A lot of the responses that came once DOGMA was released is a perfect example of why over-hyping/expecting too much from a GazettE release is never a good thing.

I can't even be mad at this because at the end of the day, despite how harsh your words are....you are right. I didn't even know this was discussed. This is some pretty solid info and it makes sense. The band seemed a lot more fun to watch live with AK, which is why i've been so consistent with peeping whatever live stuff they drop.

This blows but i do find it commendable how much solidarity was shown here, from pausing activities to even considering going indies again so Akinori could stay. It really goes to show how what we think and have experience with something as harmless as weed can be such a major offense somewhere else. Either you're trolling or you don't want to understand that playing new songs prior to studio releases is a thing. You also seem to be confusing Dir en grey with either Lynch. or the GazettE who are known for recycling more or less of the the same song structures, riffs, etc. This exact thread , alongside detailed posts from both Whirlingblack and another user confirm that said songs are new.

As far fetched as this prediction is imo... I would like 2 see how the band in this day and age would tackle a mini.

Girugamesh) will hopefully release some original material More solo/side projects. SKIN will debut. Satsuki will give up his solo career. Yohio/Disreign will be the only Western VK act that people will pay attention to. New Evanescence single/Album Mejibray dropping another great single. The Black swan dropping another great single. Initial L will disband or fade into irrelevancy. New Merry album/singles.
