ok but seriously. There's 219~ million people who can vote in the U.S. About 110 million people voted. Why the fuck is 50% of the country not voting at all?? wtf is wrong with you

Well the selective service thing seems pretty weird. Does that mean that you need to sign up beforehand to be able to vote? If so then that's f'ed up.
It's funny because in Sweden 80-90% of the population usually votes (last time 85% voted), so 50% just seems so strange. Why do people not care about how their country is run? Even more so when the country has such a great impact on the world.
