That song called LILIA is good. It sounds old school although there is some pop sound there too I would completely get rid of. The guitars, bass and drumming are really good. I read they sounded more pop before. This is very uncommon since most VK bands tend to go from rock to pop and not the other way round. In this case they have made the right decision, in my opinion. I hope they continue to make more music like that song. The more they leave pop behind the better in my opinion.

I think the name of the thread should be changed. The band is not a mystery anymore xD

Gacjkt Gackt was 461 in 2001 so now he is 473/4 years old.
  4. Hi A bunch of you guys may know about session band Anmin Kigan. I have always wanted to listen to any material they might have released when they were active. Has anybody ever gotten anything musical by them? Did they ever release music? I also remember I once requested their music, but nothing happened that time.

In no particular order. 1. PIERROT 2. Noir fleurir 3. Aliene Ma'riage 4. Due'le quartz 5. Malice Mizer 6. Baiser 7. Missalina Rei 8. Kagrra 9. Dir en grey (old school times) 10. Verfe~gorl I am not a die-hard fan of any bands although there are bands I like more than others, but it is the sound (old school VK) that I am more attracted to and that I search for everytime I come across a new band. However, these are the bands the I like the most and listen to the most. Although there are some other bands left behind because it is only ten we can list.
  6. Nice dancing and attitude but boring song.

Gara's voice (Merry) would be considered unclean, right? Even though he sings well in my opinion, but his type of voice is kind of "scratchy"(for the lack of a better word).

Guren no yumiya In my opinion it deserved a better PV.
  9. Roses define KAMIJO: Roses in Lareine. Roses in Versailles. Roses in Kamijo's solo project.
  10. Before Vior gloire disbanded he said he considered he was too old to form another band, right? I hope this new band as good or even better than Vior gloire.
  11. Does somebody think there's a second reading in Death of Asagi? Or does "asagi" actually mean something in Japanese?

  13. the part where KAMIJO sings "sasageru" reminds me of Elfen Lied's opening Lilium. I hope when he becomes a major artist he doesn't trade this he is doing for a more commercial disposable musical style as it tends to happen to visual kei artists and bands.
  14. Wow, when did KAMIJO write so many songs?? I liked the trailer and loved the song. In a way I don't regret Versailles' hiatus when listening to this song...

Thanks for that piece of information.

Oh. I was forgetting Eliphas Levi. They have some good PVs too. But I like low budget PVs, it is part of the magic of Visual Kei. By the way, what does the lyrics of Karei naru D no sangeki say? I wish I knew what the lyrics of CANARY's Misty say, too.
  17. seikun

    I love that song.

Noir fleurir - Omocha no MIISHA I love this band and the song is being told in the video. It might not be the best production but there's a story here. For some unknown reason those guys in white take MIISHA away from KENGO and apparently they kill MIISHA... KENGO always sadly and desperately looking for MIISHA with no good results u.u
  19. seikun

CANARY - Misty Although I don't know what the lyrics says you can see the telling of a story in the video.

I don't really know whether or not he has been asked his opinion on christianity and religion in general before, but through the lyrics of Mad Sky (PIERROT) and HE IS A MONKEY I knew he kind of can't stand christianity. Same thing with Kyo (Dir en grey) who just like Kirito seems to have a harsh opinion on christianity from what I have read from fans, but I would be interesting to read their actual words on this. A song like HE IS A MONKEY could hardly see daylight in the west.
  21. seikun

HE IS A MONKEY by Angelo is very kind of agressive against christianity. I have always wanted to read about Kirito's opinion on christianity as it seems that he doesn't like it much. Now that I am agnotsic I am perfectly fine with the song. Not so much back then when I was a christian xD

Maybe I ignored it before but what does sukekiyo mean?
  23. seikun

I think the name of the thread should be different since any PVs can be good ones either having or not a story in them to tell. So telling a story doesn't make a PV intrinsically a good one. But for the sake of the thread D - Yami yori Kurai Doukoku no ACAPELLA to Bara yori Akai Jounetsu no ARIA
  24. seikun

It all depends on you and your taste in music and PVs... I love low budget PVs like that of DERAIL. But I might find a similar PV horrible, too. It all depends. I never considered EREMIA's PV a not so good one. Although the woman in it couldn't be more expressive xD. I always paid attention to the vocalist's singing which is a bit similar to the way in which Sakito (Due'le quartz) used to sing. A fried of mine used to say they sing like that because they kind of hear a bit different than the rest of the human population or something lik that, but that is a topic for another thread.
  25. Let me put it this way. I want to listen to Ishoku Othello Shoujo Lolita 23ku and not Ceramic Star Shoujo Lolita 23ku. I want Visual Kei bands to push their initial musical style further and not changing it for a commercial one that one sooner or later will grow bored of because that kind of msic is only made to last short. As I said, I love old school Visual Kei bands and their sound and I want bands to stick to it while improving the style and their techniques through time.
