So I'll be the first to say it.
 
The new song really isn't anything that special but its still a nice listen. The acoustic version is pretty cool too. 

"Hated" is probably a little strong in this case, but the telephones. It's funny, because they have so many things I love going for them (energetic performances, engrish lyrics, super high-pitched male vocals, a silly sense of humour, cheesy 80s influences...etc.), but I really didn't like I Hate Disco or Monkey Disco at first, and those were always the first songs that came up when I looked into them, so for years I couldn't understand the appeal.
 
Then I watched the videos for Keep Your Disco and Don't Stop the Move, Keep On Dancing and some live stuff and all of a sudden the other tracks started sounding good. Well, I still think Monkey Disco is right on the edge of being too ridiculous, but yeah...

I don't feel the 凛として時雨 and TK songs to be one of their best songs so they wouldn't be in my top
You really forgot some of the best like GTO, Gurren Lagann, .hack//SIGN, sayonara zetsubou sensei, Space Dandy & FMA.
I think it's hard to do an opening top without being subjective, we can be so attached to an anime (or just awesome opening animation) with an "ok song" our mind can put it in the awesome songs category.
I love Berserk but not the opening, I hate Attack on Titan but love the opening.
