Hey guys, I have this bis picture that I love it so fuckin much, but I don't know if it was a poster, from a magazine photoshoot, a promotional shoot for a release etc I don't even know which one of them is the original any help?

  7. man, I miss Shounenki... it's such a shame that Amai Boryoku sucks so hard

    1. Ada Suilen

      Ada Suilen

Totally agree. Shounenki was a cool band!

  8. Hiro was on twitter mentioning lives he'd been a part in the last few days, but I really don't know if he was talking about session bands or orcalade It's really strange for a band to go into this absolute silence while the members are all around still tweeting, with the band on their profile and whatnot In any case, glad for clearveil boys, would hope the vocalist fella I forgot the name would comeback aswell

Indeed one thing that definitely grows unnerving with each listening is the completely absence of anything that resembles a bass. Don't know if it was a conscious choice, but I kinda blame Katsuya, it's the producer/engineer job to tell the band: "dudes, this is dumb"
  10. breakin' holiday's debut album is definitely on the weak side. Which is a shame, this project had everything to be great... gonna listen BE PROUD for some palate cleansing now brb

all crowd related stuff furi, rows and everything else that makes freaking metalcore concerts look like a kids show live audience or smh
  12. chemicalpictures

IMHO this is yet another the case of the "NOT HEAVY = HORRIBLE" tired trope, similar to what happened with DEZERT. And yes, while I was also expecting more, there's also a lot of raw good ideas here, that could definitely have used a couple months more to flourish. After Rijin there was Kidoairaku, so I'l treat it as what it is: a conceptual release, an experiment to further polish the identity they are looking for. highlights: What's Up?, Lament, MIST, Tick Tak, out of the darkness
  13. I'm sure I'm late to the party, but I just discovered Poppy yesterday and I'm freaking the fuck out how cool that shit is

yeah, there's a lot of kawaii metal and shit ton of japanese influences there is, but I really think they upped it a notch with the industrial, metalcore in your face guitars, screams in feature songs, radical tempo changes

And I'm really happy this kind of weird shit is getting some recognition, the girl slays

I think some people are missing the meaning of "conceptual" in the " MISC is a conceptual album" sentence. I mean, of course it's different from CHE DO A RA, shouldn't it be? And this notable confusion of directions, mixed bunch of ideas being throwed around would actually fit the concept of MISC., as in short of Miscellaneous, right? I'm pretty excited for this, is shaping to be a pretty interesting experience

  17. I've probably already said this but  IMHO pentagon's drummer is top 3 on the scene right now. From all the members, I look forward to his return the most

    1. saiko

      saiko

Why you think so? Is there any stuff out there where he shows his good skills?

    2. chemicalpictures

      chemicalpictures

not on raw skill, I should mention, I think there are quite a few others like CHARGEEEEEE, KNZ and Sujk before him. Mainly the way he dances around pentagon "genres" doing his own thing, It oozes potential and personality, it's like he tries his best to not stick to used patterns for ballads or punkish songs that are tried and true.

線香花火, MONOCHROME, 17 and Teenage. comes to mind first and I think shows my point above

    3. IGM_Oficial

      IGM_Oficial

One more reason why their disbandment sucks

  18. chemicalpictures

have you tried the 'dark' mini? IMHO is peak experimental, melancholic Moran. Great stuff, really

ya'll bunch of INFIDELS when the boys have ever disappointed you since that drummer dude left? HAVE FAITH
  21. chemicalpictures

because they are most certainly negotiating all of it on the spot. It's pretty common for producers to make opportunity business when bands are already doing something "near", so it's very likely that when they announced their concert on Mexico, Brazilian producers saw the opportunity and negotiated a stop here, afterall it's way cheaper to bring someone from mexico than japan. Usually brazilian producers even share costs with argentinian ones for a two, three stop tours Wouldn't surprise me if they add a couple dates and such

  23. this dude is lowkey releasing some pretty catchy music for a while yooo 8P-SP take notes on how to make corny electronic music at least a little bit interesting
  24. chemicalpictures

hey man, whats up?! I'd recommend Develop One's Faculties first and foremost, to me they are the most interesting act in the scene right now, BY FAR. a small list of notables from that period: Chanty, APPLIQUE, DIMLIM, MORRIGAN, DEZERT, MORE, Soan Project, Kimi ha Surudoku., ACME, ZON...
