Are you guys seriously complaining about not having to grind for hours fighting Audinos? I'm really anal about having my team at (or near) the same level so the new Exp. Share mechanics are a blessing and have simplified one of the games most arduous tasks imo.

I bought X for my little brother and Y for me. He had a lot of fun playing with Froakie and already beat the first Gym Leader. I'm still soft resetting for a female Fennekin that I'm gonna name Melisandre!

omg are you me? My parents also listen(ed) to 80's rock, pop, R&B, some post-punk, and prog rock. My mother ignited my love for pop music when she would jam to Selena, Thalia, Paulia Rubio. etc. My mom, grandmother, and I loved dancing and listening to salsa and Latin jazz music. My dad kind of just listened to whatever my mom played since she always hogged the radio and car stereo. But I do have very fond memories with my father on long drives and him playing The Doors' collection CD that he had. Some of my faves from back then ~<3 rip Selena v__v rip Celia v__v

Well no shit Piko's death was widely reported on many Japanese and vk news sites. It's only obvious that there would be a sudden surge of people willing to give them a listen and of course some of those people were bound to like what they heard. There is no difference in discovering them this way than any other way imo I hate this "I knew them first than you did!" shaming that a lot of (indie) music fans do.

I voted for Akai Ko-en because I enjoy their songs a lot more and tricot still has a lot of room for improvement. But damn did tricot's album shit all over AK's album. Akai Debut was a such a disappointment; all three of the previously released tracks on the album felt like filler, the new songs (apart from Counter) were mediocre, and the album was too short. T H E isn't substantially amazing either, but tricot really showed them how it's done. I don't understand where all of the creativity that AK had in their two EPs of last year went?

女王蜂 (Ziyoou-vachi) Rockin' punk band with a black/japanese transgender female vocalist. Do yourself a favor and listen to one of the coolest bands around right now (they're on hiatus now, but vo. Avu-chan is in a new project band with ex. Tokyo Jihen guitarist Ukigumo). All 3 of their albums are perfection and in the DL section <3 凛として時雨 (Rin Toshite Shigure) Rad indie rock band with male and female vocalists. They play a unique blend of prog rock, math rock, and post-rock that's constantly changing tempo and focused around complex guitar melodies. My personal fave and appropriately titled album still a Sigure virgin? is a great place to start; all of their albums should be in the DL section too.
