what to do when your favorite band is coming to your country and you're seeing them live for the first time? how does one survive the remaining few days??? HOW?!

I may have spent 3 hours today crying at the Budokan because MUCC decided to play their selection of MEGA EMO SHIT (from stuff they released from 1997 to 2006 + some stuff from the new album). I mean I was trying to write something cynical but they started the show with Kuchiki no Tou and ended it with Zuta Zuta so it was like a very delicious emo sandwich. I'll never refuse a good emo-sandwich.

You're right, it was super happy lolol God I love the fact they ended the other one with Myakuhaku and STARTED this one with Myakuhaku... that wasn't a coincidence, was it?? You're also right that I don't like some of those songs much, but... I don't think it's a bad side to them, especially when both the band and the fans can have fun, I guess. And this side of them was always there too. Though if I had to choose one, I'd have gone to the first live, definitely... but all in all, this setlist would also please me, so in the end I'd be happy with either XD One of these days they'll be playing Yume no Machi live and I'll be laughing my ass off haha

A slight typo on kuchiki no tou, but other than that, damn. I say again, there are no bad sons there... also, Zettai Zetsumei following Ieji has to be the most amazing choice ever. And then, Daikirai... argh, what a setlist. I do hope they'd just release a DVD of that with no cuts, but that's expecting too much and I know it XD

@togz It's Do As Infinity, they've been my favorite since my teenage days... and honestly it'll be pretty far from here, but all tickets (including plane tickets) are already with me. I'm just panicking, I guess lolol

IS THIS FOR REAL?? omg, i didn't think they'd actually play that!! aaah so envious! that's such a great setlist!!! can i still have hope that i can also find that sort of setlist when i finally go see them? i thought all hope was lost! that's wonderful, goddamn, there are no bad songs on this setlist, no bad songs! ç_ç

I was originally going to post my 'favourites of 2016' list at the end of January, but since my PC died along with everything I'd written I've pretty much lost the motivation to complete it. So, for anyone that's interested, I'll just say that downy, JYOCHO, siraph, and 網守将平's outputs were my favourites.

@IGM_Oficial Ah... ok. I thought all those had disbanded. But well, SMAP is not on a hiatus, they're disbanding for good. I'll look into the ones I find interesting to report and find out. Thanks!

Thanks, much appreciated! @IGM_Oficial I don't know(/care about) most of those bands either, but it helps. Also... I wasn't aware Nightmare had disbanded. (or maybe I just didn't remember it. It's possible lol.)
Ah btw, j-pop artists are included too. Any genre really, as long as it's japanese.

Haha no problem! XD And I agree! Lots of korean indie bands are using bandcamp right now and it really helps. Japanese... not so much. They overlook the power of digital sales AND overseas fans. Really. :< You probably heard another cover, it's a pretty famous song! And I do think Yubisaki can do great things in the future... they are often described as a mix between tricot and Akai Kouen and I can see that. The video they put up before that one is pretty funny too. But yeah, at least she was really nice to me, it makes me feel like buying but I caaaannn't right now :'(

That one is gonna be in the mini too! I never managed to find their previous releases online, but from what YouTube had shown me before they sound promising! So I asked the vocals if they're planning on releasing that mini on iTunes for other countries too and she told me there were no plans for this right now and linked me to amazon XD I thought it was cute really. Well, I tried....lol

POLKADOT also made another google CM covering the song "Yume no Naka he" (Karekano's ending), but they UNFORTUNATELLY aren't releasing that song :((

But that's been happening with other bands, apparently... Yubisaki nohaku is even less known and also did a POCARI SWEAT CM (very popular drink in Japan) a few weeks ago, but it was removed from youtube for some reason

They're releasing a new mini-album soon anyway! And that song will be included there.
