  1. Back in my college days, I always checked out the Nikon D90 which was my first time handling a DSLR. When I took my first shot using that thing, I was blown away by how phenomenal the picture quality looked. Since then, I'm all about manual settings. I find it weird how the price hasn't gone down much considering the age of Nikon D90. Still around $800+ price range.

My current camcorder is Canon Vixia HF200. It's a decent cam for home or family video usage. The biggest flaw with this gadget is low light shots that makes the footage grainy and noisy. Here's a sample video using the camera to do a gunpla build montage. XD

  2. So let's talk cameras. :D

I'm sure some of you here are amateurs or professional photographers/videographers. I need some recommendation on near pro-level cameras mainly for video recording. For the budget, Canon EOS M & Sony NEX-6 has been on my mind. What do you guys think? If not these, anything else you have in mind?

Also, share with us your equipments and experiences. If you like, post some of your shots here.

  3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014)

I went in with no expectations, then came out fairly entertained. The best part about this movie is how everyone was in character. Some action scenes were great but others were disorientating with the close up camera shots and the constant background motion shots. I didn't care for the plot cuz whatever. Megan Fox still doesn't get a spec of dirt on her after all the action. Above average movie at best. 6/10

  4. I don't recommend going with that case. There's plenty of better ones for less than $120. My case is the Fractal Design Define R4 which cost me $100 and it packs plenty of features. Also, get at least a 500 watt PSU since you're going with an AMD gpu. AMD is good stuff but they're notorious for their power consumption. As for RAM, I suggest going with Corsair, Kingston, or Gskill brand. While that i5 is a great processor, do you plan to overclock it? If not, then buy the non K version, it would also make that aftermarket cpu cooler pointless.

  5. Finished playing Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons last night. Beautiful game that left me a single tear drop. This is a great example of a game where the visuals tell the story, no dialogues.

Started up Dishonored and completed the intro part. I'm liking it so far.

Still plowing through Payday 2 as my go to game after coming home from work.
