It's honestly quite tragic.. Like, I know that 'pure' horror (i.e. not strongly mixed with action elements like in Gantz and that kind of stuff) is a pretty niche scene in the anime industry, but it's not like there's a shortage of interesting material to adapt.. Kinda feel like due to its niche nature studios might be reluctant to throw money at this kind of stuff unless there's like a clear potential for merchandising.
