It was announced today that RIU(ex.メトロノーム) will be releasing a new album titled "東の空、龍が舞う" on 2013/07/28. The album will cost 3000 yen and will be available both at lives and through mail-order (he is looking at the possibility of selling it through Amazon as well).

If you're considering switching over to XBOX One now because "Microsoft removed the DRM", I'm here to tell you that's a stupid idea. Remember when the backlash first started in small fits and the PR team claimed - very vehemently at that - that it could not be turned off? Oh, look, they just managed to find a way to. And I'm very well aware that "can't do it" is programmer parlance for "it would be very difficult to do so given the time constraints", and that many engineers will be spending long hours re-engineering the console from the ground up in order to get it ready for launch day, but look, they can and they caved under the nightmare the was our reaction.
 
What's really happening here isn't that Microsoft is "listening to us". That's utter crap. Microsoft was hedging their bets on Sony following a very similar policy with the PS4, so you had no alternative. It looked like Sony would too, with their acquisition of a patent blocking used games on consoles and the whole spyware scandal concerning pirating media everyone seems to forget about.
 
But after the biggest feint in video game history mimicking some Red Wedding type shit, Microsoft is realizing that draconian DRM such as this has no place on video game consoles. The preorder numbers for the new console send this message home. It is something most gamers do not want. We have told them this before. If they were truly listening to you, they wouldn't have tried to pull this in the first place. If PS4 had ended up doing the same thing, this switch would have never happened and everyone would be screwed. The point here is that if Microsoft could have screwed you, they would have. Don't forget that.
 
Another awful side effect for MS now is that the best features of their new console, which depended heavily on the DRM features, now have to be scrapped. The 10 people game sharing group? Gone. The ability to install from the disc and be able to play without it forever? Gone. Being able to give digital copies of games? Gone. The XBOX One has been neutered at the groin and it's way too close to the deadline date to make the necessary software back-end changes, ensure a smooth, stable experience and then add new features on top. The entire approach MS were going for has been thrown into flux. No one should be happy with this. Those that weren't planning on buying it in the first place shouldn't. Those that were excited about the new features now have less features - if any - to salivate over. Those in the middle now have a console that offers less overall and demands a heftier price tag for it.

This is an awful decision and no one benefits.

 

You DO know that 99% of oldschool bands were shitty as well. As someone who owns hundreds of demotapes from 90s VK bands, I can tell you this. The scene was just as full of talentless bands that sounded like everyone else back then and there's a reason nobody remembers them nowadays. Get off of your high horse... seriously. There were always good bands and terrible bands in the scene, just as there are now, the internet has just made it so much easier to hear all those crappy bands now.

Lots of news for Jikkendai Marmot.
 
In June they will be releasing an itunes-limited single titled "アールデコの手摺を離したら/ばらばら遊園地". Samples are available on their website now.
At their next oneman on August 23rd (the third in the ロゼットの会 oneman series), they will be releasing a live DVD containing footage of their oneman on May 24th.
Finally, they announced a 4th oneman set for November 30th at which they will be releasing their 3rd full album.
 
Looks like quite an exciting and active year for this band!

For me, Danger Gang is an easy choice. They're a bit more raw sounding than Exist Trace is, especially new Exist Trace. Exist just seems too... polished nowadays, while Danger Gang has retained the same kind of sound they shoot for(which as far as I can tell, is to deliver music that is closer to their live stuff). I'm probably a little bit biased as well though as I've seen Danger Gang live a few times and they absolutely blew me away with their energy and presence.

You guys spoke highly of us at the panel? Big mistake... that is unless you were telling this about this awesome guy called Biopanda, then you were spot on. Would have loved to make it to the panel, but moving from Chicago makes that a bit hard XD

Dude seriously. Start posting in here or else it seems like I'm just goin' hog wild in this thread. Anyways, I made this low-carb deep dish pizza a few days ago. I'm a Chicago native, so I know my deep dish pizzas, and this hit the spot VERY well. Plus it was low carb and totally fit with my diet \o/ Yay for having the most awesome(and very effective) diet XD

The crust was made with a combination of almond meal, eggs and melted extra sharp cheddar cheese. For the inside, I layered on italian pork sausage, hard salami, pepperonis, mozzarella cheese, tomato sauce(just minced tomatoes and salt blended together) and a light dusting of parmesan cheese. The only gripe I really had with it would be that there wasn't enough sauce and cheese, but I kinda botched the sides a bit and didn't make them as tall as they should have been, leaving less room for the filling. I suppose I'll thin out the crust more and make the sides higher next time then everything will be golden
 
Oh and I dunno... maybe add some sort of vegetable *shrug*. Or just more meat lol

The Korean version, not only has it subtitles in Korean, also has a longer beginning with a bit of a background story for the subject of the PV, as well as a slightly longer, more in-depth ending.
