When I worked retail a few years back people would have huge conversations with me about their day while my thoughts would be in places like "I'm just here to check out your groceries, please pay me and go home, I honestly have no need for this." I guess I just honestly don't give enough shits, lmfao.

The "friendzone" is a term mostly used on the internet by everyone's favourite "nice guys" because they're convinced girls either: 1. Are machines where if you put nice behaviour and paying for their food in, sex will come out and then cry like babies when they find out it doesn't work like that. These are the most extreme cases and don't seem to appear often. 2. Are always at fault when they get rejected because how could anyone reject an amazing guy like him? Probably the girl's fault. 3. Can read minds when a guy has a crush on their best female friend without the guy taking any initiative like asking the girl out or any of the sort. In any case, not giving her any hint or indication he's interested, then blames the girl for not taking up his versions of "hints". These are the three cases in which the word is often used, but I believe it's something that doesn't exist. It's just an excuse for guys to push the blame of being rejected on someone else than themselves. I consider it not so much a problem of sexism (as tumblr likes to state), but more of some people just having huge inflated egos. They'll hopefully grow up some day and realize they can't blame everyone for their faults.

Started Tokyo Ghoul today, but the first two episodes didn't really impress me. On advice of a friend I started reading the manga though, and the manga is fantastic! So if you're not digging the show, give the manga a try

If you want to know a few good headphones in a lower price category, you can always ask Zess, he's the expert. As you might've seen around the Headphones threads on here I used to have a pair of AKGs that were like $40 (and come in like 5-6 different colors, groovy) and produced really great sound. They lasted about 4 years with heavy usage and they have a really good, balanced sound quality for their price range. The only minus they had was what I'd say the obnoxiously long chord and the fact that they'd start to painfully clamp after a few hours of use. Also it took a while for them to be comfortable on your head. In general I'd rate these headphones a 7/10, though definitely a 9/10 in their own price category.

Apparently Wikipedia says Hiroyuki Sawano did the OST and not Kajiura Yuki? It says Yuki did the opening credits for the anime and the general OST was done by Sawano, but Wikipedia can be edited by everyone so I can't say for sure.

Started Aldnoah.Zero because the teaser looked promising. Seems pretty promising, definitely going to continue this one. Also it seems this show is going to have a killer OST, amazing soundtrack what I've heard so far. Not sure who does the OST but my hunch says it's Sawano.

If someone enjoys listening to only Asian music and has no intention or motivation to look outside of it, so what? If that makes them happy, that's what they should do.
