CLACK inc. released a teaser for the new single called "5th" that will be available on all digital platforms. The full version will be available on March 23rd, but for now you can pre-order it and listen to 1:29 minutes of it.

I just listened to it and needless to say, I already love it. For those who are familiar with Takeru and Arma's previous band, this gives me crazy EVE vibes! It's very catchy and melodic and sounds like it's gonna be a really good song!
 
This is also Avel (bass, ex-Veinrot) and Kenbo (drums, ex-Art Elicia)'s debut single with CLACK inc., so show these guys some love! (Both of them speak English fluently too fyi)
 
 

Par for the course for them basically. I don't think a break can give them any new ideas, but just straight up disbandment and parting of ways.

I've slowly developed a kind of fatigue for this band, always churning out those new releases... and while their songs are always kinda cool it's just so overwhelming. Well, I guess I'm gonna check this one out too, lol.

Feel likes there's something missing in the vocalist's voice. It's...restrained? But in a bad way?
 
It's like mahiro's vocals but only at like a 20% level?  and without the 'crying' undertone lol.
 
Hakujitsu suits his voice though imo.

Why does he keep targeting the album that NO ONE CAN BUY?!

Everything about this is just bad. Shoutout to Issei who also without a doubt has no assets but is nonetheless able to run a professional or at least an aesthetic looking band that even at their worst are not like this disaster. The background music is Lets 100% and it's so fucking bad, like the editing and the questions and answers and everything else. It's like the album: ugly and badly produced with some good ideas hidden in there under all that dross that has been mangled and warped by Let's shitty auteur touch.

Well, it is what the title says. コロナウイルス is forcing people to stay home in Japan and the japs have a nice philosophy of spreading hope in times of despair, so they went there and performed anyway and are being nice and posting the gigs that got cancelled online for all to see, including us, poor gaijin. No live audience, no staff, etc.

How come they look hardcore edgy but when you see them live, they're all kirakira kei like?

When they're on and firing on all cylinders, they're like the most talented vk band around and every member can play their ass off. I'm of the opinion that their concept is holding them back because it's those moments when they don't sound like something that would play in the wash room of a chinese restaurant when they're at their best. The last track from the most recent album was a great showing how they would sound without all that... you know... shit
 
 

After Mahiro's surgery, his face looks different in every single piece of media they've released. Wondering when it'll settle down. 

gulu gulu has announced on their official Twitter that they've been trying to get in contact with kazari, but no luck. They went to his home and nobody was there. 
Their live today will still take Place but without kazari. 
 
Furthermore, I've not seen a thread on this but at their one-man in January, ai announced in a MC that they are to release a CD during spring. They never specified date or month, but it is very likely in April/May. The band hasn't posted this on SNS or talked about it elsewhere, so it's difficult to pick up unless you're there, I guess. 
 

At this point idgaf about Dimlim as a band or Retsu, I’m in it for the telenovela realness. 

Also noteworthy is that Ryuya and Taishi still follow Hiroshi on twitter.

I took a nice listen to it myself and spent quite some time thinking about it overall as I took it in. But @Zeus has a very good point. Most of it felt very empty because of the lack of bass and hearing those restrained moments from Sho really detracted from it overall. And that's really my problem with it, because there's something missing from it and I don't know if it's because all the members aren't entirely on board with the changes but going it with anyways is the main issue but it feels just lack of any full dedication from anyone besides Retsu and whatever his vision is. It's not against the rules to do evolve and change as a group to do things different but when you can tell a whole band isn't into it then it transfers over to the sound of the album as a whole.
 
So to me, it's not the worst thing ever, it's just something that exists and we get to enjoy Sho's amazing vocals as held back as they are for another spin.

Sho's vocals (and katsuya's mixing?) is the thing that's making me stick with their releases.
 
Also the ticking part of out of the darkness reminds me of the sound of starting a kitchen stove unsuccessfully

They 've changed for sure. I like their new groove out of the darkness, but a lot to lament too.
Not goint to try to fool anyone, It's a +&- album.
Hope their new direction can take me out in the midnight when the mist clears away.
Maybe it's better for the future or they can try new things again before it's too late.
