What is it with adults trying to write a teen movie nowadays. Like seriously, half of us don’t use Snapchat or Instagram all the fucking time. The characters they portray are some of the cringiest portrayal’s of teens I’ve seen and half of it isn’t relatable.
Like most of our lives isn’t even spent on our phones. Ugh...its so bad. Like make a character actually relatable. Literally Perks Of Being a Wallflower is the only good teen movie that’s relatable to me. The shit they put on Netflix and YouTube is pure cringe.
13 Reasons Why is literally the reason I hate movies or shows with Teens nowadays. The show literally is the opposite of what the message is.

Lol. Most of my friends are just really nerdy. Video games, MCU, anime all that jazz. Not a problem since I love all three.
I think it’s the shows that portray teens as ALWAY being on social media and acting all like “OMG” and shit. If you’ve seen Riverdale then you know what I’m talking about
Oh, and I forgot another good teen movie that came out recently was Love Simon. Haven’t seen it, but my Bi ass wants to lol

I started watching enen no shoubotai and it's a cool concept, basically firefighters who extinguish fire demons who cause spontaneous human combustion. It's a shounen and therefore super cliché, the protagonist says he wants to be a hero within 5 minutes of the first episode but yeahI'm giving it a chance.

@platyoh i saw the first episode of that. it seemed sorta boring but i wanted to give it a chance bc it’s by the same dude who made soul eater. i haven’t watched any of the other episodes yet. out of the new seasonal anime, i think my fav i’ve seen is dr. stone. but admittedly i’m behind af and there’s some others i wanna see.

I know I said this in an earlier comment but... I actually like SAO Granted Alfheim was...ehhhh. But the Mothers Rosario arc was well done and so was the movie. Also, can we PLEASE stop with the “oh this died in *insert year*. Like seriously, theres sooo much good anime. I liked Darling In the Franxx Jojo is overrated and I have no interest in watching it I dont like Future Diary. If I hear “YUKKKKKIIIII” one more fucking time, I will slit my fucking wrists. That pink haired yandere cunt makes me wanna vomit. Also, people can like the anime better than the manga even if the manga is supposedly better than the manga. You shouldn’t force it on someone if they’re not interested. Hell, I like Marvel movies and I don’t know jack shit about the comics lol
