Both K(Yohan) and Kuro hinted as to this being their last band, i.e. they have officially retired from the music scene as of today.
Mei said during an MC that he will continue, a lot of people expected to get a flyer from his new band when they left the hall but they didn't, so I guess he will reveal more information about this when he's ready.
 
Some musicans from the scene attended the gig as well, among some of them were Kyouki (Grieva), Yuugo (Grieva), Hiryu (Miztavla), the bassist from Marblehead, Rei from Neclos (who?), Rei from Avanchick, and the rapper who Mei has been hanging out with a lot lately.
 
Mei is the only one of the three who hasn't written anything about today, the only tweet he has written says Kitaku, which translated to "I'm going home".

My honest guess is that they will hold out on re-recording GARDEN until they announce disbandment, and that will be a parting gift. No proof, just a gut feeling.

Wow, was not expecting that much of a downgrade. Other than the vocals this is not the same band.
 
If a band's popular enough to become major (if they are indeed major), why the hell do record labels insist on changing everything that made them good/unique enough to become major to begin with? Retarded.

I've just absolutely been devouring Laird Barron's works over the past month or two, I really, REALLY love his style of horror writing. Anyone who likes weird fiction would do well to check his short story collections and his novel The Croning out. Real good stuff.
 
Simultaneously, I've also been reading Thomas Ligotti's Songs of a Dead Dreamer & Grimscribe, and I'm beginning to feel that, now that I've read quite a few collections of Ligotti's works, and I'm reading both Ligotti and Barron side by side, I'm starting to kind of get tired of Ligotti's general style. He's still very good and very atmospheric, don't get me wrong, but his works often feel just a tad too one-note in the sense that just about every single one of the narrators in his short stories are interchangeable for the most part and they by and large all share the exact same character type... It's completely fine in small doses, but it really starts to show in a bad way in a collection with over 20 stories.

I like it, but I'm gonna ask this... is this sound REALLY much more old-kei-influnced than their usual work? It's kind of ALWAYS been their thing so I expected them to ride the gimmick harder seeing as they felt the need to release it under a different name. Maybe if there was a video it could have helped, no gipes with the quality of the single though they sound great.

@Manji 卍 They've been active for over half a decade already, and they have a bunch of singles and mini-albums under their belt by now.
