It happens maybe once ever 7 months or so, sometimes a little more frequently. Some historical examples I can think of, other than the ones listed here, are:
 
-NightengeiL: iirc they lost contact with one of their guitarists and just continued as a 4-piece band 
-S: Their first vocalist just stopped showing up to gigs, so they played a 4-piece band and had other members do vocals until they found someone else
-2 of the Piass' 4 vocalists just stopped showing up at some point lol
 

New band "ヴァージュ(Virge)" has formed. They will hold their first live at 2017/05/06 at Ikebukuro BLACK HOLE.

MAH, vocalist of SiM, has announced on Twitter that he has gotten married to singer/model/actress Alisa Durbrow. Congrats to the happy couple~♥
 
 

Just conspiracy theorizing here but could NB be heading into a new era?
 
Back in 2011, when they released those two singles, the logo/font was different.
 
In 2012, when they re-debuted as a VK band with the "Ivy" mini album, the font/logo was different.
 
Last year when they released "Zetes", the font/logo changed for the first time since their re-debut and is much more simple.
 
With this greatest hits album, the font/logo is the same as the one they used with "Zetes" - which is strange considering the album consists of mostly the works from 2012-2016 (aside from A day to remember).
 
Just a stan theory is all.

LOL it is fun to see the trio on stage and have a great time despite the loss of the singer .. do not ask me why but they remind me a lot of Spiv States! <3

And it's also said that it initially was Issei's session band Michael (マイケル), but now it's official.
 
If someone knows more about his session band, maybe we will learn more about this Tsubasa guy.

I noticed that dimlim's twitter account is only following four other members - ryuya, issei, retsu and tsubasa (vocalist?)
I'm pretty sure the bassist in the groupshot is Haiji from Airish, who was in Issei's Last Michael session, but Airish are still together, so maybe he's only acting as support? 
 
 

I see one dude with a 40mm ear gauge  in their band pic - now I'm pretty sure it will be deathcore/beatdown with some melodic influences

i doubt there'll be any influences of deviloof in this band because ryuya didn't really partake in the composition/creation of their songs as far as i'm aware...... & he left deviloof?? so why would he bring their sound to another band if he didn't like it?
 
([unfortunately]. i'm all for deviloof influences but it won't happen LOL, good for y'all i guess. but either way i have high hopes, i don't think they'll sound bad)

new band "DIMLIM" will hold their oneman live at Ikebukuro Black Hole at 2017/6/13.
