This album is so amazing, I went to their Heterodoxy live in Tsutaya O-East in Shibuya, that was the 2nd live of the tour, and wow.. so awesome, Kirito is really at its best, and I liked this album more than CORD from last year, both are amazing, but this one is a little better, 胎動 is such a powerful song, I event wanted to cry when Kirito sang it, with such passion, that only he can show. About time he decided to do some acoustic stuff. It's been over ten years since his last solo album. Can't wait to see what he's going to do musically, whether some new material is coming or he just decided that acoustic is the way to go this time. Who knows? Maybe my wish for acoustic PIERROT will finally come true!

Critter knows what his vocal cords are capable of and doesn't abuse high notes with embarassing deaf cat sounds, props for that alone

I wouldn't say he was off key for 100% of that teaser; damn near 50% though -- but hey, that's better than Kyo only bothering to sing 50% of a given song like he used to, right? At least there's an effort being made? I guess?

and this mess likely dates back to when they actually could sell millions of records, so it's all around surprising this only surfaced just now with no police investigation involved and hyde leaving "c u in court sweatie:)" post-its in his label's elevator.

I used to absolutely refuse to get into kpop, but then in 2009 was like might as well... Now I'm just huge scum for BTS.
 
It does make me a little sad when younger fans don't know TVXQ/DBSK.

while we're on this topic, i also don't get:
- why there's still the weird division dictating that guys must be into vk as "ongen-gyao" who only collect cds, and girls only go to lives to swoon over hot bandmen
- why the former is somehow usually conceived as more superior to the latter.... almost every guy who's an armchair connoisseur of vk i've encountered exudes the insufferable air of making themselves sound like consumers of vk who are more sophisticated than "those bangyas over there" aka the "necessary evil" that keeps the scene afloat
- why the two are even mutually exclusive in the first place, as if being into the bandmen themselves somehow diminishes or effaces one's ability to appreciate/talk about music intelligently
 ...and i can go on.
 
basically i feel that people (mostly guys, but also girls who are concerned with being viewed a certain way) who actually have the money to spare AND want to participate are given pause because of these problematic assumptions. i've been saizen for bands (mostly very small) and have no problems with the girls or the bandmen themselves so i can't help thinking a lot of these strange ideas are self-imposed. people should just enjoy the scene in whatever way they want (yes, even if you're a guy who go to lives to fantasize about bandmen - what's wrong with that??), instead of losing sleep over what the bangyas in the same row are potentially gossiping about you.

The vocalist deserves to retire the music scene after his voice is hurting him that bad.

For me ALvino is a enormous mess, I was happy to see Jun and Koji two guitarists who I really like played together in the same band but the first time who I listened songs of  them  I found theirs sound too much simple and generic.
Maybe they  wanted change theirs style of music and do soft pop/rock and I think that's why Kaya didn't join the band because of musical differences when Jun and Koji asked to him to be ALvino vocalist.

can't say i'm too surprised given shota's condition for the past 2 years but still extremely bummed. funny how after 10+ years shota is still getting lots of ridiculous flak for presumably standing in the way of alvino becoming another pierrot or la'cryma christi (which they never were from the start), but ok. personally i thought the band was fucking brilliant at what they were doing and shota will always be one of my fave vocalists.

Oh what the hell?! People still talk shit about Shota holding them back?
 
I can't imagine an ALvino without Shota. His voice fit the music perfectly. Although I'm sad that they're disbanding, at least they've had a good eleven years despite being the post-PIERROT band that got slept on.

Inoran can't sing for shit, but this performance still absolutely gives me chills. Incorrectly dated, this was years after Luna Sea broke up and no one was playing LS material solo. First time I saw this... man... let's just say it got me feelin' a certain kind of way. The roar of the crowd when they realize it's "Gravity" ... not a dry eye in the place. It was something special.
