    Who the fuck decided that for architecture or design to be "modern", it has to have no curves or intricate decorations, and has to be completely made up of straight lines and right angles?

      True, but it's like, they could at least design things as a blank canvas for us to put decorations and actual shapes on, but most "modern" interiors and exteriors I see are so... idk how to describe it but made in a way where decorations would look weird and out of place

    So I was wondering if any old-school collectors would want to help with my project.

     

    I have a lot of Vkei CDs I inherited from my ex who doesn't like Vkei anymore, so I can start it off, but this is gonna have to be a group project.

      Oh yeah, I was thinking of getting a discord together to organize things. And yeah it would be cool to do something that archives more than just downloads.

       

      Hypothetically, I always thought it would be cool to also preserve sheet music/guitar tabs for Vkei, but those are literally nonexistent lmao

      Oh yeah, it could die as well, and honestly, blogspot isn't the best way to go about it and I'm still researching on how to go about it, but as long as there is a community together dedicated to preserving Vkei, that's really what matters in the end. If one platform dies, as long as we're knit together and organized somehow, we can find another platform

      Any kind of indie visual kei from the beginning of Visual Kei, to around 2010 at the latest. Obviously we couldn't do major label stuff because that'd be asking to be sued.

      And it isn't really about the piracy, but more about the preservation of media that would otherwise be lost to time. For popular stuff, there is already Jpopsuki. I'm more talking about the otherwise completely forgotten bands

    my dad is a huge fan of classic rock and metal so i showed him some of the formative vk bands like kamaitachi, color, aion etc and he didn't like any of em :< should have put maria cross on instead

    I could imagine Jesse listening to X Japan and COLOR while James listens to D'erlanger and Zi:Kill.
