@Komorebi - Are you getting both versions? I don't have a need for two of the same DVD, but I'll get which ever one you don't. Someone I know is willing to pre-order one for me, too, so if you don't want to get the second one, I'll get that one.

I'll probably get the second one, I like obliterator and bloodshot more :P

  3. Ours has to be the only country that instead of handing out checks to the population issued a law to protect employers and now I’m making half of my salary indefinitely while still working part time and unable to get a second job.

$350 a month and the possibility to apply to my unemployment insurance and get 15-25% of my salary as a bonus. Then they wonder why we riot and burn corporate buildings.

I don't follow them, but if it already was announced....

Still it comes a bit in a shitty time, but still good that he don't stop this planned idea, hopefully people will keep up supporting so that a bag of money can be donated to the koalas.

Yup, but I don't know how the situation in Japan is, but as a fan you also need money to support your favorite band, and if you cannot work and if you don't get paid... it's difficult to support this amazing project.

Hopefully D will announce later on a nice amount which was collected ^^

Then if you don’t know what the situation in Japan is, shut up and go diss bands who try to do nice things elsewhere.

Also true. I think it's a thinner line than we think, though: would you say DELUHI's signature song is HYBRID TRUTH or TWO HURT? Same applies here.

Idk about Deluhi, but Screamer is JILUKA’s obvious flagship whenever playing in taibans for new crowds. I don’t think they play Twisted Pain nearly as much as they play Screamer. We can ask them next time Boogie takes questions on IG lol

Some of the encore songs will be distributed as preorder bonus on some of the presale events. But since it’s one per city I don’t think I can get my hands on more than one.

That's an American thing, Japan is pretty much back to business as usual, honestly it never really changed much. They're seemingly dealing with covid19 very well, probably because Japanese people don't touch each other and everyone already wear masks when they're sick.

They haven’t dealt at all, they aren’t testing anyone to keep the numbers low and are reporting deaths as pneumonia's.

So I've been trying to figure out why this album works out so well to revive that macaroni formula they were trying to do with XIII.

I've noticed that they've taken arrangement styles from music of the late 00's, bands like Sadie, S'elm, 9GBO, even the GazettE which I'm surprised by, combining it with their own composition style to release a "take-two" of their last album and honestly ULTIMA does a lot more to bring those nostalgia vibes than XIII did.

WHY does “old school” = “better”.

I expected more from you, Yuyo.

  8. “Not everyone has money to support bands like you have” infuriates me to no end.

I started supporting bands when I was in college and lived on $20 a week for food and transportation. I would walk 30 blocks to take just one bus home and save less than $3 a week, and eat as cheap as I could to save another $2. My Virge-fan friend was unable to work legally until very recently due to age and that did not stop him from selling home made food outside his school to try and scrape enough for their live limited releases (which he has proudly collected). My Mexican friend sometimes skips lunch, walks to work almost every day and makes handcrafts to afford to support her favorite band. I have a lot more of examples. We are not loaded, we just make sacrifices and are, arguably, better fans than those who just whine and justify themselves.

You don’t need to buy every single release in VK but if you overhype a band as your favorite at least have the decency to make an effort and support them.
