      It's constantly streaming, but you do have the option to download any song to the device for offline purposes. Yeah with only 500mb this is probably not for you, it eats up a lot of data, I probably use 2-3 GB of data a month just from this app and I'm not even listening everyday and that often. although there are options to lower music streaming quality that could cut down on on data usage. My advice would be to look into getting more data on your plan (if you can?) if you want to use google music for streaming to your phone on the go.

      yeah but it's free, and i have a family plan with like 25 GB of shared data a month, so it's not an issue, and why not? XD
