I definitely don't see BFMV as punk, wtf? I think many of the metalcore bands are closer to metal than punk anyday. Maybe if you wanted to simplify their genre definition, I'd just say they're rock or something.
 
For me technical instrumentals + heavy music = metal

For me Xaa Xaa is really hit or miss. I only like few of their songs and rest are pretty meh tbh. But the songs I like, I like a lot.

well let me know around what time you're thinking... I'm pretty flexible as long as it's after september but before mid november. Only reason is I work at a tourist attraction so during holiday season they need me. But it'd be a lot cheaper if two of us went because if we use airbnb we can basically rent an apartment plus it'd be nice to make new friends and have someone to explore with. I'm kinda awful at finding the courage to do things on my own.

True! To be honest I liked even their old lives where koichi would just sit down and Mia did his thing, because there'd be some amazing theatrical stuff from Tzk. But what I've seen form the latest live looks like a riot, which is a nice change. 
But there's never any interaction between koichi and Mia so I wonder if they hate each other lol

I haven't been following their live stuff recently so I was really surprised how lively they are on stage. MiA used to be just standing still doing his man-barbie posing before, but on this DVD he's really rocking the stage! Koichi got great amount of screentime too because he's doing all the background singing - which I totally love. He's shouting something all the time! Meto is the only one kinda distant, but what can you do behind the drums?

That's nice because I'm tired of koichi getting only 10seconds in every pv. There's only so much I can look at Mia lol

I've been kinda worried about them too. Also because I felt their first releases were so strong and it's been pretty meh material since. It's a shame, because I really like their heavy sound and Sou's vocals are one of my favourites among current bands.

Guren is so good too! The B-sides on the single as well. It's my favorite single after Hyena.

Cassis is just so amazing. One of their best ballads in my opinion.
