  1. I absolutely love Sukekiyo, but the music is so heavy in terms of mood that it can be difficult to listen to. Especially Immortalis, which is damn near 80 minutes. I often find myself stopping it after Daemon's Cutlery and either taking a break and coming back or just not finishing it altogether. Vitium is a much easier listen though. One of my favorite releases from last year.

  2. I'm sure when you saw Kyo clawing inside his mouth and punching his face, at some point he snuck a fake blood capsule in his mouth.

In the Vulgarism DVD, during Fukai, Kyo appears to slice at his wrist several times. Before that, you see him put something between his teeth and pull. I think he breaks a fake blood capsule and puts that on his wrists.

The chest scratching was real though. I don't doubt that.

  3. more dislike then hate Dir En Grey well mostly Kyo sorry but hurting yourself when you're singing at your own oncert why? and why would anyone like that? it also mess up hes singing so I don't get it and its so gross & painful looking

Kyo hasn't done any of the self harm stuff in years.

Then again, I also believe that most of it was theatrics. He almost always "cut" himself at the same part of the same song every time. The chest scratching was believable, but ripping his mouth open? Cutting his wrists? Nah.

  4. I just hate most VK fans. The way they treat their favorite bands as infallible gods disturbs me. They can't be objective about anything; everything a band does is perfect. And don't dare express any criticism unless you want to be scolded like you're a 5 year old.

"If you can't say anything nice then don't say anything and don't listen to the band then waaaahhh!"

  5. Well it sounds like they're lip syncing during the "ATATATA" parts, but then they don't even bother to pretend to do the harmonies when Su sings... So I dunno.

  6. I wonder what the issue is between Sakito and Hitsugi.

Honestly, that's a lot of drama, and it's a wonder why the band just doesn't split. It wouldn't surprise me if they come back to celebrate the 20 years, release a single or a mini, then bounce for good. Seriously.

  7. If they're preparing for their 20th anniversary, then the hiatus will be four years at the most. That's not a long break for the music industry in general, but in VK it's an eternity because these guys work constantly. They need a break. The music suffers when you have to provide an album of material practically every year.
