    See, I think that's cool. The band comes off as so dark and full of ZETSUBOU that you forget they have a sense of humor.

    I remember watching a YouTube video a while back where this girl just berates the band for how they look so bored in fan pics. Then she gets mad about Kyo keeping his face covered with the shroud during performances, and he needs to respect fans more because they're the reason why he can afford those expensive shoes or whatever the fuck she was on about. She then went on to say how Sukekiyo just sounds like Dir en grey (at the time only Daemon's Cutlery and Aftermath were out). Then said the band name was a sign of Kyo's huge ego because it could be read as "Kyo is great."

    Those are the fans I can do without.

    I wouldn't expect anything different from Kyo at this point. I mean, that's just him as of late. I was shocked that he actually shook my hand and smiled at a signing after a show in New York back in 2008.

    It doesn't sound like a language in NIHIL to me at all, just improv vocalization.

    As for Nausea & Shudder, I can't tell if it's poorly enunciated Japanese or poorly enunciated English. I'm hearing either "ITSUWARI SADEEWADEEYO" or "ITS YOUR WOODY SADEEWADEEYO".

    Turns out Dogma is a pretty decent album for short car rides. It's good energetic music to have in the background at work, too. Honestly, that's been the case for most of Gazette's albums since Toxic. This isn't stuff I want to sit and delve into, they're just... there.

    IDC how bad ppl may have thought this entire set was. This easily is one of my fav performances due to how much energy they went into it with.

    ALSO, SHINYA BEASTED.

    Ehhhh...

    Clearly much of the problem can be attributed to poor mixing and probably monitor issues (was it during Obscure when Kyo glared at a stage hand running by, then screamed at another during a vocal break?), but there were also issues performance wise too. Kaoru totally mangled the solo, especially during the finger tapping part. Toshiya's vocals came in too early during the "live thru this world" part. And Shinya... I'll just say he was tired.

    It actually kind of bugs me when people refer to the band members by their "real" names too. I mean, those names actually got pulled from Wikipedia years ago, which I think is a pretty good indication that they were made up.
