My favorite visual kei lyricists would have to be....
 
SaToRu / グラムヘイズ-glamhaze-
Their first single has really resonated with me on a personal level. His lyrics appear to be simplistic, but deep and/or get to the point. I like the theme of the songs so far. Themes of the struggles of life but still moving forward. Really curious if SaToRu is going to branch out with his lyrics in future releases or stick to similar themes.
 
Kazuki / ザアザア-XAA-XAA-
His lyrics tend to also be simplistic in my opinion, but are beautifully/cleverly written. 
 
AKIRA / MASKED RIDER SYSTEM
Love AKIRA's style of writing. His lyrics are simple, get to the point, yet are very beautifully written. The lyrics on their last single are especially emotional. The last song is a farewell to the fans.

I love this album~ To be honest because this was the only music of DEZERT's that I've tried out, I didn't know what to expect. After seeing the music videos for the album, I was expecting the album to be more heavy like "Aa." I was surprised by the rapping and shortness of the songs. But in my opinion they pull of the different musics well.

i don't think people are blaming the victim as much as pointing out that there are still alot of gaps in what we actually know about the case: was there consent? was there force involved? how much deceit (if any), and on whose part? of course these don't detract from the act being illegal under statutory rape laws (which by the way have attracted their fair share of jurisprudential critique), but depending on the answers to these question the moral tenor of what had happened (as opposed to what we think happened) can be very different.
 
i mean... come on, he just got arrested and even the initial allegations haven't been fully verified, much less the "juicy details" that all of us here are scrutinizing with perverse fascination. tanuki is already doing a good job of feeding our imaginations if that's really what we want.

For me it would be the cost of everything. Visual kei music is just expensive, then when you get the multiple versions of one single involved...yeah even more so. In my opinion it's worth it, because I love owning the music but it definitely teaches you how to finance for such a hobby lol But I couldn't imagine fans who actually experience the visual kei scene in Japan and how much they spend on traveling, concerts, merchandise, etc.

Ya, when it comes to visual kei what's "popular" has a different meaning. There are some visual kei bands that have broken into the mainstream in Japan, but from what I've seen and heard it's a rather difficult thing to do. Visual kei seems pretty underground to me.
 
And I feel like sometimes CD sales can be misleading, because you have fans who will buy 10 copies of one CD or buy all the multiple versions, etc. So it doesn't necessarily mean they have a big fan base.
