Excuse the cringey name; I used to draw a lot when I was a kid, especially in my preteen years when I doodled my "DoodleZ" daily, whether it was on my notebook paper or on my homework. After high school though, my passion started to die down as I lost confidence in myself, even when I took art class in college and got to experience new things such as painting and gridding.
 
Now, I've had the itch to draw again; it's an ongoing progress, but I'm really eager to draw again, and I want to start that off with vk portraits x) I remember having a lot of fun with those in art class. But I would like to do something bigger and better someday, like maybe do more than just a sketch...by painting it too~ 
 
But enough of my yammering, I'm here to post some doodles that I've done before, or have done recently.

I didn't see this posted yet, so I figured I'd do it just cuz. 
It was announced on January 25th that the guys would be releasing a new album in April. According to the site there is no track names yet but it will have 11 songs.
They also announced a tour (rather short even for Japan) that spans across a few cities in Japan with a total of 5 shows for the release of the album. 
 
My concern is that the news hasn't taken off as much as Bakemono did when it was announced. I've noticed a decline in the views on their videos as well. I'm not sure if it's because of the stigma around their departed drummer, poor marketing, or a combination of both. Does anyone have any info on these venues and how large they are or what their capacity is?
 
Maybe this new album will rock people's socks off enough to get them up in the game again.

Akinori was possibly their only legit official bassist? All the other dudes before him on the wiki are listed as support only. But I'm hardly an expert on early Lynch. so maybe someone else in here can better comment on that.
 

AK wasn't an original member but he joined when lynch. went major so maybe as far as the label is concerned that's good enough?
they're on King Records (more specifically a subdivision called Bellwood)
if this was Danger Crue or something AK would be fully blacklisted probably, idk why King flipped on this except maybe that lynch. had an impressive sales year

i'm a little shocked to see Umebo is having such a hard time, idk why but i assumed there would be less stigma in the metalcore/hardcore field that HNIB worked in? i'm sure their arrests are linked too, but i don't know why their treatment is so different since they both seemed to have the same arrested > suspended sentence OR nonprosecution thing happen (Umebo was active on FB within a month of his arrest).

That's what's crazy. All the members even cut off association with him... but... isn't Akinori not an original member? 
I don't know what label lynch is on.... but maybe it's Warner.

I hope they are. Maybe it's in the way the bands handled it too. HNIB seemed quick to distance themselves where Lynch seemed a bit more regretful about the situation?

He is in another band, but they're having a hard time booking any gigs.

I mean... they replaced Umebo pretty fast which is a bummer considering the outcome in the situation. But I think he's in another band actually. 
I still wonder if their busts are linked... I wouldn't doubt it which makes it even more unfair. 
 
Anyway kinda goes to show how different certain scenes handle things. 

It's kinda blowing my mind this is happening when Umebo from HNIB was axed for similar and is now basically blacklisted from the scene.... 

Metal percussionist / industrial musician / soundtrack composer 石川忠 (Chu Ishikawa) has passed away on 2017/12/21 after battling a lengthy illness, with a funeral held shortly afterwards among close relatives. He was 51 years old.
 
He was the founding member of short-lived '80s industrial unit ZEITLICH VERGELTER and founding member of industrial / metal percussion band DER EISENROST with whom he remained active until recently. What he was more famous for was his soundtrack work, having provided the music to most of Shinya Tsukamoto's movies in particular, like the cult hit "Tetsuo: The Iron Man". He was working on new music which he planned to unveil in 2018.

May he R.I.P. Goddamn, I'm devastated, he seemed like a really cool guy and all his stuff is amazing. Gonna blast this big boy today for sure.

it's been a while, and unfortunately my external hd messed up and I lost ALL of my photography.... but it encouraged me to start over in a new angle.... so this was a recent impulsive shoot I did last night....
 

don't let this stop you from getting into VoD. the members are all very talented musicians and definitely deserve to have their past releases recognized, because they are incredible.
 
and i'm sure they'd appreciate any support they can get right now. 

I've been following Tenten since Hanamuke but I've officially jumped off the hype train with this project. It's very disjointed and one song sounds like 5 and it's hard to tell when one song ends or one begins. I don't feel that any solid ideas are portrayed in their songs. 
 
Also if I'm not mistake the last full Album was with the session band kiss my way which was a pre-order/mail order only???? But it was 8 tracks I think so I don't know if that's like really generous mini-album or really dinky full album.
