If Urbangarde is ~way more famous~ then why are they having most of their onemans at small venues with caps of 300 or less people like Baysis, Colony and Hook?

I also had no idea what M-ON! was but I took a look at their website and I saw quite a few unpopular VK bands, some long disbanded, listed on their artist list. Just going off of that I don't think having your PV shown on their channel is a big deal, but I'm no Japanese tv expert so I can't say for sure.

And one reminder that they were on the downward swing was at a little hearts live where the band with the most fans there that day for them would be able to play again the next day with the ~big name lineup~. everyone thought shounenki would win (at least everyone but xaax fans) and they were even set to play last (a sign that management thought so too--so they could just stay on stage during the announcement). It was XAA-XAA that won. A band that wasn't even a year old had managed to get more fans at a concert than shounenki.

No wonder why Shounenki gya hate XAA-XAA so much.

Like anakuro I'm not surprised. There have been disbandment rumors for a while now, but I didn't expect they'd announce it so suddenly and not at a live.

心中 is also probably my favorite release of the year along with コワイクライ, though ララララ is my favorite xaax song.

It's a good look but I don't feel like it suits the band. It's too.... classy? for lack of better words.

Them looking poor/like garbage is part of their charm.

I agree with anakuro. I don't see the problem with them releasing a compilation album so more of their fans can buy their music considering a lot of their releases are sold out. Plus there's 名も無き空へ and ララララ as well as 鬱くしき雨音 . 

Calling it a "best of" may be misleading, but them releasing an album like this is not unreasonable. 

Nevertheless, looking forward to all of this! Can't wait until they announce instores.

I got my BA in Japanese in May. I also have a background in linguistics but I didn't want to take the extra credits to do a minor or double major.

I landed a job in Japan so I'll be moving there in a few months.
