For alternative rock and the likes, I think I tend to listen to lots of bands like MY FIRST STORY (OOR's little brother band), coldrain, ONE OK ROCK, Crossfaith, AIRSWELL, Pay Money to My Pain, SiM, Man With a Mission (rock band full of wolves, yes), [Champagne], ELLEGARDEN, the HIATUS, SPYAIR, etc. Kobayashi Taro is great too.
 
These are all totally different types of bands though, so there might be some you like, and some you won't.

i didn't think i'd want to put coll:set BUUUUUUT looking at my library, its honestly classic--more so than gazette or dir en grey. so +3 on that,  if theres one metal derivative that is a must listen--its that.

I knew that mirai iro was an ending theme for yu-gi-oh, but didn't know that namida drop or sink were featured in anime op/eds as well! I might like namida drop more out of the three though.

I'm not a fan of sub-par production values on studio recordings from artists or labels - despite the band being talented (I'm looking at you Sel'm...).
 
I also hate fangirl/fanboy immaturity in general - which is rampant in the community.  Typing Random onomatopoeia in all caps and constant doting on certain members (detailing your every sexual fantasy that is never happening) for the sake of the attention is annoying spam, and it bothers me.

the only thing i remember when i think of these guys is that RIDICULOUS kool-aid vampire man costume the singer wore once and thats all lmao, but its still weird to see them go, feels like they always were just... there, kind of
