Fetishes are body focused and kinks are more centered on the person and what they bring to the table.

how i understand it is like this:

 

a fetish is the sexual arousal coming from a non-sexual object. this could be a body part, ex. feet, or not, like balloons. there doesn't have to be any kink in there to make it arousing; it just is.

 

kinks i define as the "play". add in some degradation, humiliation, etc. kinks are things you DO, how you act, and that's arousing. that's how i understand the difference

All mainstream porn is gross and unbearable imo, Japanese even more so. However, amateur Western stuff is where it's at and some Japanese porn from smaller studios has creatively satisfying scenarios. Amateur Latin American stuff is good too and usually feels more spontaneous.

I agree with @platy’s take, the exception being amateur American porn cuz it’s new faces or new takes in scenery. Mainstream porn simply regurgitates the formula that trends online over and over (the family stuff, real-estate, babysitter, etc.), which they ironically source from amateurs. 
 

Japanese is still my preference because of the sheer volume of videos that make the industry, and something that you’ve never heard of may come across your feed and it’s several scenes and not a 5min teaser.

 

Kinda hard to distinguish any other countries because online porn sites don’t use the tags very well and I also think people don’t care that much haha.

I doubt it's the same for everyone but saw a video ages ago where they showed Asians of different nationalities western porn and they were all grossed out by it generally. lol. For what I remember they seemed to suggest it was just way more hardcore and disgusting compared to what's made in their countries. That said, have seen some pretty gross and crazy asian porn too so......
