^ Get new ears, thank you.

The whole vibe of the song just makes you feel better. The whole incorporation of 80's tune makes it quite unique sounding, and as always, the lyrics are flawless. ALBUM OF THE DECADE, U R WELCOME.

Yes, all professional reviewers was tantalized by it too xD

This album will be great. I'll always trust in her.

And she always delivered.

have scrobbled it 45 times since i got it xD

and that already cut down 3 hours cos i gotta got back to work

yeah, i downloaded the very song at office lol

got very distracted by it, i can't function well until getting it into my iPod.

And now already past work time, so i can listen to it again.

still so many hours to go, i may be able to get 100 before the night's end

It's so lovely this song is. Anthemic and it just is sounds so effortlessly.

So far yea this is the best of the 3 for me. BTW really never got me and Judas while better still was lukewarm. The chorus is kinda meh and the sax parts towards the end are a little much but there are some cool parts that balance that out and overall I like it. It's nostalgic and upbeat and definitely something I can bop along to every now and then. I haven't had any high expectations for this album but this song guarantees that I will at least give it a good listen.

I liked the song. Wasn't a big fan of BTW (even though I do think it's catchy as hell) and Judas, while good, felt kind of underwhelming, especially the effects on her voice. I wouldn't say I'm excited for her album, but I'll certainly give it a listen when it comes out.

May 16th, just a week before the album release date,

the second promo song for the album will released, it is called Hair.

Produced by RedOne, said to be industrial-esque Dance banger.

And third single confirmed to be Marry The Night.

So there is one more slot for single,

will still have to wait and see what it will be.

oh please. she's said many of her songs are "industrial-esque" dance songs but end up having that same crappy RedOne electropop beat that he re-hashes over and over.

Bad Romance is the exception, actually has an industrial beat of sorts. Otherwise, Gaga should stop throwing around genres she doesn't understand.

But I'll keep an open mind until I hear the song of course ^_____^

funny thing is, i didn't stated anywhere that it her who claimed that :P

but to make it clear, it is Rolling Stones editor,

who had did early review for 4 tracks back in February.

Said that Hair are sounded like Broken era of NIN mixed with Pat Benatar's

^ If "Hair" tries to intimidate the Broken album and ends up fucking up, that'll be a pretty epic fail.

But alas everyone will cream all over this album.

well, i guess don't take that review raw.

As ever, Gaga is a pop artist,

so she may not be sounds as hardcore as NIN was.

perhaps just a little harder than Judas? who knows?

Only few days to find out.

But i am sensing BTW will be rock influenced album though, kinda.

and some other news:

First,

The Edge Of Glory is announced as official 3rd single.

The Fernando Garibay-produced track was originally released as a promotional single

to start the iTunes countdown to Born This Way, due out on May 23rd.

However, the singer decided to make “Edge?? the official third single from the album

after it topped download charts in more than 10 countries

and received rave reviews from critics and fans.

“The Edge of Glory?? will be officially sent to American radio next Tuesday,

a day after the release of the next countdown single,

the RedOne-produced “Hair.??

So wonder if Marry the Night will b3 4th single then?

And so she will have 5 singles altogether than 4 was planned.

We'll see. Her #1 singles has always been Garibay's so far.

(Born This Way and The Edge Of Glory)

Maybe public response are getting higher with her new sounds.

As she mentioned she was getting more new fans from this new direction.

secondly,

Lady Gaga is set to release songs from hew new album on FarmVille.

The singer will let fans listen to tracks from Born This Way,

due in stores on May 23rd, on a section of the online game

before they can be heard anywhere else.

On May 17th, Lady Gaga and Zynga will unveil GagaVille,

a farm within FarmVille, which will showcase Lady Gaga’s themes from the album,

such as crystals, unicorns and motorcycles.

From May 17th to 19th,

players can complete tasks to unlock

and stream a new unreleased song per day.

Lady Gaga said: “I want to celebrate and share Born This Way with my little monsters

in a special way that’s never been done before…

Zynga has created a magical place in FarmVille

where my fans can come play and be the first to listen to the album.??

and then third news are,

All fourteen tracks from the standard edition of Born This Way

will be streamed exclusively on the official website of Metro from Wednesday, May 18th,

five days before the album hits stores worldwide.

The singer will also guest-edit all international editions of the newspaper on May 17th.

In her role as the global editor-in-chief,

Gaga will provide comments on the breaking news of the day

and select stories for Metro’s editions in 20 countries from the paper’s London office.

Guess she is also as excited as we are, to have leaked out everything early,

after trying so hard these past 4-5 months locking up every single details about the album.

Well, i am not gonna complaining though ;)

Some friends of mine prefer to stay away from it though.

Since it is only five days to wait.

What about you?

She is quite original with teaming up with online games, though.

It could be a trend, you think?

edit:

the video from her mentoring on American Idol tonight:

3oer9-WSJHc

The best mentor for this season.

And probably ever on American Idol history.

I am being serious, cos she actually helps each contestant in some way.

Her inputs is gold for every contestants.

Most other mentors just say oh keep in key a bit more or practice or something else too general.

And i am not being bias.

Paranoid Gynoid : The Word Magazine reviews Born This Way album.

Be prepare, it's rather long.

But quite a read! :)

It is hard to remember the last time anyone made an album quite like Born This Way. The sound of it – a mix of high-octane industrial techno and euro-pop with a heavy Bruce Springsteen influence – is unusual, for a start. Then there is the subject matter – immigration laws, death, spirituality, prostitution, love and stardom –and the fact that, in a world of artists who turn up to a studio and sing whatever their A&R man says they should sing, this is a completely artist-driven pop LP. This really is a most peculiar album; an uncompromising, fearless set of songs that’s also designed to sell – and will sell – millions of units.

Lady Gaga’s imperial phase began in 2009, when her record label demanded a couple of tracks to chuck on to a deluxe-edition re-release of The Fame. Her response was to deliver The Fame Monster, an eight-track standalone concept album. For the deluxe artwork she insisted on a new Hedi Slimane shoot, a gothic black-and-white anti-beauty shot of Gaga in a black wig, bleeding tar from one eye. It was a jarring but beautiful image but the Monster disc was no grand folly; it featured Bad Romance, which propelled her into the pop stratosphere. In the eyes of the media and many fans, her untouchable reign, brief but spectacular, ended in February this year when the lead track from this album – the single “Born This Way?? – failed to live up to expectations. But while Lady Gaga gets it wrong sometimes, she gets it right in such a way that the shadow she casts across the rest of pop seems almost unfairly long and dark.

Strip away the bacon frocks and the tunes are all in check. There are some flashes of an extraordinary talent from Gaga, just 25 but still only 23 when some of this album was written and recorded. Euphoric-sounding belter “Edge Of Glory,?? inspired by the death of her grandfather, is about the moment just before death when you realize that you’ve won at life, and features E Street Band saxophonist Clarence Clemons. It’s not the only song with nods to pop history – since THE WORD’S listening session in March Brian May has been added to one of the songs, while another tune not available to hear as THE WORD went to press (“Yoü & I,?? a ballad she’s been performing live) was delayed because Gaga was waiting for Mutt Lange to step in and produce.

“Hair?? is the second of three Bruce-goes-raving numbers to capture the album’s strange but seductive spirit, the instruments and electronics conjuring an atmosphere that, like Gaga herself, feels both authentic and synthesized. In the chorus Gaga sings, “This is my prayer, that I will die living just as free as my hair??. It seems, at first listen, like a fantastically facile analogy – there goes Gaga with her ridiculous haircut! – and it works splendidly on that level if that’s all you are after. Then Gaga contextualizes it with tales of her Catholic-school education – strict haircut rules and all – and this riotous pop tune written from the perspective of a liberated adult starts to feel like an It’s A Sin of the digital age. Pop shouldn’t need a directors commentary of course, and “Hair?? works just as well as a big stupid pop song, but how fantastic to know that this is pop with something going on under the hood.

There are similarly thoughtful songs across the rest of the album – political techno spook-fest “Government Hooker,?? Mary Magdelene-inspired electronic ballad “Bloody Mary,?? immigration-law smack down “Americano?? – and it’s all very refreshing, but putting thankfulness to one side for a moment, the real question is, and always has to be: are the tunes any good? Well, they are very good indeed. “Marry The Night?? feels like a Whitney Houston tune and most recent single “Judas?? even has hints of Abba, which has prompted some critics to say that it’s chorus was “too pop??. Accusing Lady Gaga of being too pop feels a bit like accusing a brick of being too brick-like, and either way tough luck because right now it feels like she “is?? pop, and Born This Way offers ample substance to back up a shed load of style.

Lady Gaga is considering releasing nine singles from this album, an ambitious idea, but given the breadth of material on offer here, not a silly one. The finished article is likely to be imperfect – it’s been a quarter of a century since a Brian May axe solo was an attractive prospect – but it already feels like Born This Way is a landmark pop album.

if you lazy, i'll point out some for you:

- Brian May of QUEEN were helping filling in for guitar parts for one song

- Bloody Marry will be electro-Ballad

- named Born This Way as not only a most peculiar album,

having strange but seductive spirit but also a landmark pop album.

- planned for 9 singles, 9 fluckin' singles!

and also added that it's "an ambitious idea,

but given the breadth of material on offer here, not a silly one."

O boy, i am going to be so broke this year!

Also, be ready for Hair cover art anytime today or tomorrow.

Gaga had tweeted "soon" for it earlier,

alongside a video of performance in U.K she did these past 2-3 days.

And, gagavision 45 coming soon

last, but not least, THIS WEBSITE are going to share piece by piece of Born This Way poster starting by May 23rd.

Each parts will have size an A4, and there will be 30 pieces of it,

so when all parts completed, it will make a super huge ass poster for your wall.

All for free. For a limited time.

Bookmark this website peeps, and mark your calendar!

edit:

and to answer many accusations that she was

copying Madonna on BTW performance on Grammy earlier this year.

She explains that:

And just like that, as many of the creations in my brain take form, I realized, and so did the Haus, that not only did I need to reunite with my youth, i.e. “Bazooka gum,?? but that my fans needed to see me in that juvenile way in order to understand the intention behind why I wrote “Born This Way.?? Accompanied with a side ponytail, it took me back to moments when I was just a little baby monster. When my mother would perch a pony high on my hair and we would dance so hard to the tape deck that the perfectly perched pony she fashioned would fall to the side. I had to take an uncomfortable journey back into high school, where my youth represented tears. Wishing I had a mask. Hoping that I could artistically hide the wounds buried deep from years of being bullied. I have since reckoned with this psychology in my performance art. But this time, the revelation was clear: I still want to wear the mask, but now I wear it proud, and with the same effervescence and innocence I had when I was 6, dancing with my mom.

another cool pop song, Hair:

http://propagaga.com/stream/

and whoever working on Rolling Stones and writes it's sounded like Broken album by NIN

really need to get fired lol

I predict this will get #1 again,

so far only Judas that sounded so dancy and raw.

All other singles are just glorious pop.

i really enjoyed HAIR as much as i did with the Edge Of Glory.

Can't wait for BTW next week!
