I love Gaga but I feel her whole "culture" is fake. She started off wanting to be a famous pop star, became more then that, and is now pretty greedy. She uses her fans, excuse me, Monsters, to do her dirty work.

It's a shame.

At least Brit isn't as conceited.

It's hard to be conceited when you're a drugged-up shell of a human being. HTH.

TRUTH. I like a lot of Britney's songs (and blackout was great really) but really she's just a puppet with no personal decision making anymore. Her singing was never particularly great but it's somehow become even worse. Her new album is quite trash tbh. And that music video was quite abysmal. I feel bad for her when I see what she's doing these days.

Gaga whether you like her or not is very creative and talented IMO. Album has a few dud songs (omg Americano) but on a whole I'm very impressed. I don't think it surpasses fame monster (though they are totally different in every way), but I will have this on play for weeks.

My Brief take on the album:

Upon first listen of the album, it sounded much better than I'd expected. Even the songs I didn't enjoy prior seemed to fit much better in the context of it all. After a few more listens though the initial "wow" kinda wore off. Overall it's an okay album and I'm glad that I liked a few songs from it. Those being : Government Hooker, Bloody Mary, Heavy metal Lover and Electric Chapel. Still like Edge of Glory as well but it's also worn off of me a bit.

Haven't heard the special edition tracks tho.

My personal favorite thing about the album?

Britney stans who are reviewing Born This Way on iTunes and giving it a one star rating and then writing some misspelled bull shit to bring the overall rating down because they're butt hurt because their lip-syncing queen has absolutely nothing on Mother Monster, yet the album's overall review is STILL 4.75 out of 5 stars. It became the #1 selling album in less than an hour and the reviews are overwhelmingly positive. See, Britney? This is what a real artist does.

It just goes to show how petty Britney Spears fans are. Gaga fans, as far as I'm consciously aware, did not do this to Femme Fatale.

I only bought the German song and Gov't Hooker. The other samples didn't really appeal to me, but I'm sure I'll love them in a year when no one cares about this album anymore.

I hope they release the remix they played of Government Hooker at that fashion show.

The special edition tracks are terrible, don't bother.

I've had some time with this album, and didn't take me long to pick out my favourites:

1. The Edge of Glory (this may be the best song of her career, its amazing)

2. Marry The Night (great hook)

3. Government Hooker

4. Schiebe

5. Judas

6. Bloody Mary

7. Born This Way (has grown on me because its played absolutely everywhere you go, and if you hear any pop song over and over again, you are bound to start liking it)

The rest of the album ranges from average to downright terrible. But exactly half the album is pretty good, which I didn't expect, so it exceeded my expectations.
