rosalyrica 30 Posted October 15, 2010 A friend told me about this. It was just posted to the DELUHI OHP. Quick translation I did: It's a sudden announcement but this time DELUHI will pause activities after their fall oneman tour "BLITZKRIEG -Another Departure-".DELUHI was formed about 2 years ago, with continuous releases and lives since then. This summer was the first time the band experienced a nation-wide oneman tour. We received a lot of support from everyone and this is something we take pride in. Truly, thank you. And now, in order for DELUHI to take another step forward, At this present point we're fixing our eyes on what is necessary to improve. When our 8/1 Akasaka BLITZ performance is over in about 2 months... We held a meeting with the members and staff, and this is what we concluded. From now own, this decision is for DELUHI to reach a new stage, And to advance with a larger staff. During the activities pause, we will be raising individual skill, musical power of expression, DELUHI's motivation, And when we return, all of the members will have equal strength. Right now that is the greatest possibility. Though everyone probably has anxious feelings about the words "activity pause", This period is to further expand DELUHI's potential. In short, this is a positive, voluntary time. Lives and releases will come to a stop but the members and staff will still be thinking about DELUHI. DELUHI will continue to progress. So please wait a little bit and believe during this time. Leda / DELUHI BRAVEMAN PRODUCTIONS 2010.10.15 Source: http://www.deluhi.com/info101015.html
SUBLIMINAL 52 Posted October 15, 2010 Just came here to post this. Hopefully they'll learn how to make better music again, since they seemed to forget for a year or two.
Senedjem 510 Posted October 15, 2010 Maybe they'll come back and make up for the last few releases being garbage. Or we'll just get DELUHISTOIKA.

Like a couple of lovers that meet a dead end in their relationship, they decided to ake a break from their routines to find if they can bring back the sparks once more. So good for them, and when they come back refreshed they'll do some music fans long to hear. Or they may also silently dissolved, after few moments being themselves and decided to not go back but moving on instead. I wish all the the best for them all. I hope they return once more. minre 13 Posted October 15, 2010 ...equal strength...? that made me laugh xD.... still, it makes one wonder after having their last release called DEPARTURE... ...anyways, at least they admit they need to try harder.
tosinn 3 Posted October 15, 2010 I wasn't expecting this at all. But it'll do them good indeed; they need to redeem themselves and relearn how to compose great music. hHpefully a hiatus'll help them get their lost 'touch' back. Oh, and Juri should totally sign up for an english class.
jurideluhi 6 Posted October 15, 2010 FUCK. I was expecting for a full length album ALL THIS TIME. SHIT.. Just don't disband in the future.
Nyasagi 259 Posted October 15, 2010 Or we'll just get DELUHISTOIKA. I lol'd really hard when I read this XD Well, let's just wait and see what they're going to do now. It's good they aren't going to disband anyway.
55-69 0 Posted October 15, 2010 sounds good to me. some other bands should really think about doing the same! Good luck for them and let's all look forward to new releases in the future!
nekkichi 6043 Posted October 15, 2010 Oi Deluhi, is it really so important to announce a pause between sequence of crappy same-sounding releases? I never got into this band, but all the hype and drama around 'em are genuinely amuzing

Jigsaw9 6783 Posted October 15, 2010 so whats going to happen with the live dvd there suppose to releasing at the end of the year? I guess they're releasing that according to schedule. It's only that the band is taking a break, that's all.
toshii9245 0 Posted October 15, 2010 This, along with the announcement that 9GBO are going to resume activities, totally made my day. Good for them.
Licio123 181 Posted October 15, 2010 If they don't release crap like Departures anymore, no problem. Need more The farthest-like music XD
Champ213 1858 Posted October 15, 2010 I think 2 or 3 months ago I said that if they keep on releasing stuff at this rate, they'll burn out in a year. Seems it happened even faster. People should just stop expecting vk bands to shit out new singles every 2 months (no western rock band does that!), while at the same time having several lives a month, AND keep up a certain quality standard. Give them a break.
arya92 272 Posted October 15, 2010 they deserve a break! i think leda san is right, they need to refresh their mind at this moment. and came back with a big news like "New Album" Release i will find out more in their live at november !

Zeus 7997 Posted October 15, 2010 At first I was shocked by this news and automatically assumed that the worst would happen, but since it seems like a genuine hiatus I guess it isn't so bad after all. They better come back with plans for an album in mind - it's been two years. It's time.
