    I know this post is a bit old but I wanted you to know that this really cracked me up. My sides are in orbit!  I actually bookmarked this to get a good laugh every now and then.  Those moves a fucking impressive, now I want to see a VK band pull this off. Preferably Kisaki or Dada.

    Currently catching back up on the manga I Am A Hero which is a zombie apocalypse scenario (which I'm a sucker for).  I really love the art work as most of the characters don't really look too wildly anime-esque.  It's not very believable but it's pretty creepy and good.

    Yeah, it's hard to self learn.  I study Japanese in my spare time, and it's tough to do it on your own. Tutelage is always the best, and immersion.  If you can afford a tutor I say go for it.  Also, if you got a friend who knows and is willing to teach you, that's even better.

    Learning for the sake of learning itself is a fine goal.  Though you may be frustrated now, just think of all the sick riffs you'll be able to pull as you invest the time into it!  Don't go for the expensive stuff until you've mastered the basics. Good luck!
