This deserves a mention for the fabolous poster alone, but the film is as good as the poster. Not too far behind The Great Mouse Detective in my eyes.

I might be a bit of a hypocrite in one or two stuff... I checked ~10 of those of options. While white lies can be completely dealt with, it's the situation that counts. After a while of hesitating, I chose cheating as well, but like I said with lies, it can really depend on the situation and what do you count as cheating. While I would never do it, I have a close person who cheated on her alcoholic, violent husband and while I can say it's wrong, some way I can understand her. It doesn't justify her at all, but she had - and still does have, after the divorce - a special bond with the guy for very, very, very long time. To be honest, I am totally on the fence when it comes to her case.
 
Lack of affection and clinginess/neediness is a bit of a double-edged swords for me; I come from a family where physical affection is a rarity, so while clinginess/neediness is something that I kinda crave, it gets really suffogating for me really fast. I need my space, but a girl gotta get some affection as well! And as I mentioned my family, overly-emotional can be kinda turn-off, as I have honestly no idea what to do when this happens. As someone who's motto has been "that's life" since being a small child, I can't "stand" people who gets upset about every single thing that happens.
 
Being able to stand in other people's shoes is important for me, so that's why I checked close-mindedness and overly critical. We each are our own personas and all of us have their own opinions. Just deal with it.

I know I am one of those types as well, so it would be quite interesting to know what of those options people think they are! XD

Started on Jessica Jones late last night, and I'm four episodes in so far. Shit, it's so good, man, and so far I prefer it to Daredevil which I thouht was excellent. It gives you a lot more to chew on, dealer with a much darker side of the superhero universe. Krysten Ritter strong, hurting performance combined with an intriguing villain, a dark and bleak noir-atmosphere and rather unusual themes like rape and trauma makes this into something quite different. So yeah, so far, so fucking good!
 
You shouldn't go in expecting a new Daredevil, though, because this is something very different. But if you liked Daredevil I see no reason why you shouldn't be able to enjoy this. Will try to finish it after I get home from work. I can't wait!

I started watching the first season of True Detective at the beginning of November, now that it's December I'm somehow still not finished. Why do I always take series so fucking slow? It's only 8 episodes too, god damn it, and I only have 2 episodes left to go. Maybe I just don't want it to end.. :^)

I can't wait to get started on this. Will start during next week, as soon as I finish Narcos. They handled Daredevil really good, and I expect them to handle Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist with the same amount of quality and respect as they did Daredevil. And The Defenders can so easily become among the greatest, if not the greatest, superhero adaption of all time if they continue down the path they started with Daredevil. Yeah!

When it's the middle of the winter and there's snow up to your knees and the options are "wear someone else's boots" or "go outside with no boots", someone else's boots start looking like a really good option.
 

As someone who grew up poor, I can tell you that you do what you have to when you have to. Not everyone has a lot of money to afford brand new things. No need to look down your nose at people who have less than you.

I have now booked plane tickets to Budapest on 25th of December and back to Finland from Prague on the 28th! Will go on 26th to Brno, Czech Republic and the next day to Prague. Any recommendations to do in each city? Probably can't do much, as it's just after Christmas...
 
Also, I have plans to buy plane tickets to Thailand for a month in December. I will go there next year around August/September~!

I was at this English bookstore in Helsinki and I decided to take a look at the small pile of CD's they had collecting dust in this room full of boxes of shit that no one wants
 
And it turns out amongst those CD's were Penicillin's Missing Link, Luna Sea's Mother, La'cryme christi's Sculpture of Time and a Due Le Quartz single. I asked the owner whether he had any clues as to the origin of these, but apparently they had just been there when they bought the place. I forgot to ask if they had more laying around somewhere and I wish they had known who owned them because not one of those albums is fucking around. Weeaboos are extinct and this is subculture antiquariat archaeology.
