The Haunting of Hill House - Rich, deep and complex horror series that's as much about horror as drama, and digs deep into loads and loads of different subjects, and does it really well. The storytelling is top notch, the character development is excellent, the cinematography and overall visual style and so on. Man, beautiful! I love how it's all put together. It jumps back and forth and back and even further back and a bit forth and so on throughout and it's beautifully done. So well-crafted and awesome. Amazing series!

If you're a big X-Files fan you need to watch Millennium asap.  It was created by Chris Carter who created X-Files. Very good series.

Inside The Secret World of Incels is up on youtube and pretty interesting. It basically follows three very, very different human beings who view and treat females very, very different. One is an obvious scumbag, but the other two seem like decent and reasonable human beings with a very good understanding of how the world works. Awkward guys, but awkward guys gets to fuck, eat pussy and live happily with a girl as well. So good on them. And they'll probably do good for themselves. Maybe with some help, but still.
 
The Catfish guy however was a piece of shit. Absolutely disgusting and pointless human being.
 
I wish the documentary was longer and way, way, way more in depth tho. The subject matter is very interesting.

If you were too drunk to remember Primordial you missed out on something huge. They're just miles and miles ahead of every other metal band out there as far as live gigs goes. Beyond fantastic live.

So I got to see Carpenter Brut live again yesterday, and not in my wildest dreams did I expect them to deliver better than last year. But they really outdid themselves by a good margin. If the gig in 2018 was a 10/10 (concert of the year for sure), then this was a fucking 50/10. Crazy as hell. I usually hate moshing and shit, but I could not bring myself out of the pit during the gig, nor could any of my mates. Insane. Truly fucking insane. Man, I hope they come back soon enough.

In all seriousness though, If you're gonna rag on the first group you gotta be able to step it up and call out the second group for doing the exact goddamn same thing as well. If you boil it down to the most basic principle of 'uh oh life fucking sucks, i wish i could get away from it for a moment and get me that temporary dopamine fix to help me feel better' then that shit's LITERALLY all on the same level. The only noteworthy difference is that unlike drugs & booze the latter category might not 'directly' affect your health, but sitting on your ass watching anime all day for instance isn't gonna be doing either your mental or physical health any good in the long run either. Coming at people like this just reeks of hypocrisy and is literally on the same tier as some militant vegan with a superiority complex trying to guilt trip others for not being exactly like them tbh

Funny you'd throw this out there as two of the best rap albums of the year are by females.

The new Sabrina's one of the bette shows the last ten years. Dark but campy as hell. Perfect for someone into 60 and 70's horror camp.
 
Pretty much the counter part to Buffy's teenage comedy cringe.

That's a weird combo, but I recommend everything they've done before. Judging from videos they also seem to be an absolute monster of a liveband. Offers something very unique for sure. Easily one of the metal bands I'm most keen to experience live.
 
 
 
I might go as far as to say that both their albums deserves a spot on top 10 black metal albums of the decade for 2000's and 2010's. First album sounds like a Chinese Drudkh meets Burzum and Summoning, while the second album sounds like Summoning meets Drudkh and Burzum.

What's so bad about the first season of 13 Reasons Why?

This makes literally no sense whatsoever. How is something like Uroboros, Dum Spiro Spero, Arche and The Insulated World any more copied from American/European metal bands than The Marrow of a Bone? With Uroboros (and the later stuff) they actually started doing something quite fresh and new, and it's actually pretty far from copying any american or european metal I've heard, and I've heard quite a lot. The same can honestly not be said about The Marrow of a Bone which is by far their most american metal-sounding album to date.
 
 
Btw, I can't stand The Marrow of a Bone, Dum Spiro Spero, Arche and The Insulated World. Arche and The Insulated World have a handful of good tracks combined between them, but as a whole both albums suck. But not nearly as much as The Marrow of a Bone. Top 3 worst albums I've ever heard for sure.

Finished Stranger Things season 3 as soon as I got home from vacation and thought it was exceptional, like its previous 2 seasons. My favourite thing about the series is how it manages to keep the nostalgia and feeling from season 1 alive, while going in a whole new and different direction. Did this with season 2 as well. Absolutely amazing. Best series ever? Probably. Top 3 for sure!
 
Btw, the new female characters where all amazing. Both Robin and Erica works really well. Especially Erica. Witty, smart and snappy(?). Gotta love that. Fantastic portrayal too, which is the key for a character like this. Managed to never become annoying, even though in most cases she would be annoying as fuck. Impressive!
 
Highlight of the season? Steve and Dustin, man. That chemistry is FIRE!!! 10/10!
