I have one wish for 2017 and that's for the original, unaltered Star Wars trilogy to get a proper release again. I don't care if it's on VHS, DVD or Blu-Ray. Just get it fucking out there. Would make life twice as good in an instant.
But it won't happen as George Lucas is a fucking idiot.

Music in general is like a drug, but Psychadelic music is the most potent out of all music. Seriously, songs like Dir En Grey’s “Raison D’etre” or Black Sabbath’s “Paranoid”, or literally any David Bowie song literally make me feel like I’m on some kind of hallucinogen.
Should music even be making me feel this way? I literally put no substances in my body, but yet I feel high from some songs.
Maybe I just need Mental Help... or weed xD
IDK, does Psychadelic music does this to anyone else?
-
I wouldn't call Black Sabbath psychedelic either, and it's first time I've done so. But when I think about it I don't think calling a track like Planet Caravan psychedelic if far off at all.
But the main reason I mentioned these tracks is because he/she mentioned Black Sabbath to begin with, and if you want something close to psychedelic by Black Sabbath it would be these tracks.

Also gotta admit that Paranoid is far from what I would consider psychedelic. If we were talking about Black Sabbath and psychedelic I'd most likely mention Planet Caravan and Solitude as their two most psychedelic tracks. Unlike Paranoid, which is fantastic, these are actually quite psychedelic in nature.

If you want something psychedelic, that's also incredible, check out these albums:
Iron Butterfly - In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida
The 13th Floor Elevators - The Psychedelic Sounds of The 13th Floor Elevators
Love - Forever Changes
Acid Mothers Temple & The Cosmic Inferno - Ominous from the Cosmic Inferno
The Devil's Blood - The Time of No Time Evermore
The Devil's Blood - The Thousandfold Epicentre
The Devil's Blood - The Graveyard Shuffle
The Devil's Blood - Come Reap
These are all very different from the ones you mentioned though, but these are real psychedelic rock classics. Real psychedelic rock. If I did drugs I'd probasbly do a shitload while listening to these albums, because they are perfect soundtracks to different type of trips. I could imagine at least.

Ok so can someone tell me what people mean by shoegaze? Because from what I've gathered it's not even a musical genre and has no defining characteristics. But yet I've literally seen people argue as to weather or not a band is shoegaze and discuss it as though it's a genre. Could someone help me out?
-
The genre is named after how the bands stared at their shoes, but shoegaze is basically a genre based around being loud with long, droning riffs, waves of distortion, loads of feedback, delay, and what not. Lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of effects pedals and stuff. Often resulting in a massive wall of sound where the guitars drowns most of the other instruments a lot of the time. And the overall atmosphere is often very dreamy.
Just listen to My Bloody Valentine's "Loveless" on repeat and you'll get it.

is there any folk metal that isn't corny as hell out there tho
-
I already mentioned Orphaned Land and Melechesh, both whom fits the oriental folk metal bill. Myrath, Chthonic, Acyl, Dislocation, Arsh Anubis, Narjahanam and Master of Persia are others that fits that bill as well. Not all of these are folk metal though, some of them just have ome influences thrown in.

A few examples of bands I consider uncorny folk metal (rooted in different genres, and taking inspiration from different types of "folk music"): Moonsorrow (05-08), Agalloch, Primordial, Skyclad (91-00), Orphaned Land, Melechesh, Empyrium (95-97), Nokturnal Mortum, Negura Bunget (02-06), Isengard, Wyrd (01-05), Ulver (95)

Guys, be sure to get your trade-off reviews in! The deadline is almost up, and it'll be a shame to get blacklisted before our upcoming trade-off in October! (which is going to be awesome!) (。◕‿◕。)

Since we are no longer allowed to mention RarezHut on Monochrome Heaven, I would like to remind everyone that you can still find info about us and our events as well as the status of any current orders via facebook. If you have any questions, please send them to [email protected] instead of posting in the thread here.

Can anyone recommend me horror movies that are already available for download in HD? Late 2014 and early 2015. I haven't seen too many from this period as I've been somewhat out of the loop on the recent releases of this genre, so shoot away.
