    I know it's kind of a thing on here.. but is there a particular reason that people say every heavy GazettE song is like Headache Man??

     

    I think it's funny and HM is definitely the track to use if you do XD. Honestly though I just don't hear it in most of them

     

    Haha, it's just that a lot of ruki's songs tend to be variations of headache man in terms of guitar (low tuning, heavy chugging mostly).

    But I still enjoy 'em, I just wish I could hear more Uruha and Aoi songs from time to time.

    a) Luna Sea's frontman in question

     

     

    Now this is the piece of information that I was missing (I'm not incredibly familiar with Luna Sea),

    I know the GazettE members are Luna Sea fans, and knowing that its LS's frontman here, it all makes sense.

     

    Wow, guess they just aren't as original as I thought they were.

    I still like the album, tho.

     

     

    EDIT : Wow, End of sorrow sounds exactly like SHIVER, what the hell GazettE ? And Pollution too, it sounds exactly like AGONY, man I take back everything I said, this is plain as day, my respect for them definitely decreased, this kinda sucks.

    I wasn't pointing that the whole song sounded alike, I was saying the beginning.

     

    There are lots of sound alike songs with GazettE's songs but the most obvious one that I remember is Kawamura Ryuichi's "Sugar Lady" which the chorus of GazettE's Cassis sounded like.

     

    Haha, they do kinda sound alike. But I still wouldn't jump to the conclusion of the GazettE ripping off songs.

    This is just what happens in the music industry, as more and more songs get made, you will always find similarities between different ones.

    I wouldn't say each and everyone of them were ripping the other one off, I would just attribute it to coincidence.

    DEUX's beginning is a total rip off of Girugamesh's Volcano

    Oh come on, it sounds similar, but the DEUX one has a completely different rythm.

    Wouldn't calling it a rip-off be a little bit over the top ? I see it as a coincidence, which happens a lot in any genre of music.

     

     

    Gazette has been rip off-ing other bands' music since early eras.

    Really ? I would love to see some examples of this, I'm serious.

    I think DOGMA really badly wanted to be a mini-album, but Ruki bullied it into becoming a full-fledged album with mostly fillers.

    Seriously, just have something like this for a tracklist:

    Nihil

    Dogma

    Deracine

    Wasteland

    Incubus

    Deux

    Ominous

    *bam* perfect mini.

    But then they don't have a good excuse to charge 10,000 yen for a release (although I wouldn't be surprised if they did it anyways).

     

    Ha, I love this album but I have to agree with you,

    unfortunately it's all about the mula for the GazettE nowadays

    Just my humble onion, but I gotta add that the overall sound of the album doesn't fit that whole visual aesthetic they're pushing so hard to go along with it AT ALL.

    Except for VENOMOUS CELL era, they never had any visual aesthetic that fit with the music

    Dogma is leaps and bounds my favorite so far. The rest I only really like because it's godzette

    With the exception of Dogma and Deux I think I'm going to sit out from listening to any further leaks too. These have been very underwhelming so far and I can only hope that listening to the whole thing from beginning to end will make them seem a wee bit more exciting.

     

    DOGMA is also my fav so far, but I really recommend you to check out the solo on LUCY if you still haven't, it's amazing
