This was such an insane year for them. Fans probably had to work 2x as much too to afford all the stuff they released. 5 albums I think, not counting the tribute? And all the touring? Wow

Today was announced, that at awesome ZIZ x GOATBED two-man, Kozi and Ishii Shuji are going to perform as THE BAT with XA-VAT songs.
Sadie (Pink Galaxy) isn't able to come, and it seems Koma will not be there, too.
But HELL YES.

New update went out this evening. It's scans for all of the Cuartet CDs I've been spamming here (as well as that Gossip single). I got a new scanner, so I plan on actually updating more often. Already started working on my next batch~

Hey everyone -- after much delaying and wasting time, I've made some pretty big updates to the scans page. Now, each artist is broken up into their scans' respective albums or categories (as some bands are only flyers or magazine articles) and feature preview icons. I may split this page out to be smaller chunks of bands (like A-F, G-M, etc) in the future, but for now I'm just happy I finally got that over with  
 
I currently do not have a scanner, so adding more scans of the CDs I own will take some time. I do plan on transcribing some more lyrics into kana and romaji soon, so at least I'll still be able to provide some updates.
 
Additionally, I've made a Twitter account for the site. I plan to use this to blast out update notifications as well as share some cool vkei-related content I stumble across. Checkout @ZombieXJuice if you're interested

anyway, very very curious how this is gonna turn out since they aren't announcing an immediate disband as of now, and his other project seems like a complete travesty

Hello ^^/ My name is Sebastian and I am new here of course haha. 
I am a little new to the world of Visual Kei and J-Rock but it feels safe to say that MUCC is my favourite band. I just really love Tatsurou's voice (´•ω•｀)♡
I would have to say my favourite album is MyakuHaku but I also really love some of their older songs. I will try to list a few of my favourite songs; Aka, Suimin, HATEЯ, and Himitsu. But that is just a few lol. 
 
Aside from MUCC I really love MALICE MIZER, my favourite era is the Klaha era but I do love some of the songs from the Gackt and Tetsu eras. And because of MALICE MIZER I decided to check out Közi and I just fell in love with some of the bands he has also been in ^^ 
 
Anyway lol I will end the post here ₍₍ (ง ˙ω˙)ว ⁾⁾

The majority of the japanese fans are indeed girls/women, that being said - there still exists male fans. They're called ギャ男 (gyao, slang for bangya + boy). I have some japanese gyao friends who I've been to lives with and it's usually very fun. Of course it all depends on the band as well, I've never seen nokubura live but from what I've heard they have a big male audience for a vk band (probably because of their heavy music), when I attended a Avelcain boys only live one of my gyao friends told me most guys there was gay (he's gay himself as well), and for some reason I think that's the case a lot of the time. Also the fact that boys only live exists proves that there is indeed male fans. 
 
But to answer your question: yes, most japanese men (and women) dislike visual kei. It's a small and niched scene.

After disbanding in 2008, キボウ屋本舗 (kibouya honpo) (successor band of 秘密結社コドモＡ (himitsu kessha codomo A)) will "reopen" (ie, revive for one day) on November 5 at their live at Tokyo Kinema Club.
 
 
 

On 10/20, Madame Edwarda will release a 2-disk compilation "Doppelgänger 1983-1985" containing unreleased, live and alternate takes.

Their output during those years was limited to a few appearances on compilations, 2 singles and 1 full length album  before they ultimately put the band on hiatus following 1986's Illumine.

According to the tracklist from Diskunion, there are 13 unreleased songs from that era which, if they are truly full songs, would be quite alot considering they only released about 20 songs officially on thei aforementioned album/singles/comps.

 The version floating around on the web / youtube came from my cassette rip which I've learned years might not have been transferred in the best way possible. So if you're into sound quality, surely the CD comes will sound alot better and hopefully be from the master tapes.
