Same as @LIDL. I can fit all my playlists from iTunes onto my current iPhone, which I had organized from scratch long ago, so the need to stream any of it is not necessary.

Should I forego the apple products in the near future though, I'd probably buy a standalone MP3 player and reserve digging through my entire collection through a web-based RDP session like Google Chrome's. I used to always have a separate MP3 player with about 8GBs of room so I can always drag and drop new stuff and listen to it on-the-go, so it wouldn't be hard for me to return to that.

edit: I see @spockitty did the same thing lol

I could always just pay for a streaming service if I want to hear anything US-based too.

I use Spotify for my local files.
It's a bit tricky because you have to first add the files to a playlist on PC, then download said playlist on your phone (while you're connected via the same wi-fi of course).  Also, it's only available with premium as it's basically an offline playlist.

I used to have that music flash drive for years, but my music collection was too fast growing to keep updating it over and over again lol

I've used the google play music method in the past and it is indeed convenient, but it has it's limitations (sound quality) and I'm not the biggest fan of the app UI. It is probably the easiest method though.

I currently use a slightly more complicated method to stream my collection to my devices, but in the end the SQ and other advantages are worth the extra hassle.

Foobar2000 w/ foo_upnp plugin (Source Machine) -> Bubbleupnp Server (Source Machine) -> Bubbleupnp Mobile app

Basically you have a foobar installation running with your media library loaded  and foo_upnp server running then configure bubbleupnp server on the same machine to work with foobar upnp server. at this point all you need to do is configure the bubbleupnp app to receive the server from your source machine and voila full quality FLAC files on the go as well as your full collection anywhere.

You can also use other media servers other than foobar, I just use foobar because it's convenient since I already use it and it's always open on my PC anyways. But you could use something like servio and accomplish the same thing as well as videos and pictures too.

I still use the old school way aka drag and drop to my mobile or iPod cos I don't trust clouds that much, and it is easier since no internet connection needed.

As above really! Apparently you can just dump your collection on Dropbox or Google Play for free and use various apps to play stuff on the go as would with Spotify...but with your own music? The wonders of the 21st century!

I'm not great at keeping track of new and amazing ways of living side by side with our technological overlords, but this sounds like an easy enough thing to achieve. It would also save me the hassle of editing the pen drive in my car every week XD

Is this all as easy as it sounds? Do you recommend any particular apps/methods? Is there any danger to you if pretty much all your music library had been downloaded illegally from here? XD

    Thanks in advance x

Let's go back to just stating less politically charged unpopular opinions (e.g Maria Cross is actually not a legend) as per new rules. The last page is enough of an example as to why they were implemented.

Just look at this character for example... truly Japan (or Nippon, as  me and my friends like to call it) is much better & more wholesome than the US with all its filthy degenerate sluts prancing around half-naked all the time.

Hot take: this is the ONLY pure and Christian cosplay that exists

I agree with that first statement.

I'll admit I do follow some erotic cosplayer's myself and I have seen some pretty shitty things said in the comments. They often just block these people so I won't complain there.

But we shouldn't shame women just for wearing like a short skirt or a shirt that reveals too much cleavage. I think we should just let people wear what they want tbh. It's not hurting anyone

Considering 99% of female characters coming out of whatever weebshit series are sexy by default its hard for a cosplayer to avoid the sex appeal by default

Women can do erotic or sexy cosplay for all I care. Whatever floats your boat. There are Japanese cosplayers who do it as well

Japanese female cosplay is generally a lot more fun, cute and wholesome whereas American female cosplay is generally sluttier and more based around sex appeal. It says a lot about the way women carry themselves in Japan versus America.

Doggos are generally trustworthy and simplistic; what you see is what you get. Maybe due to this they're your guides in the dream world? Dunno, pop psychology XD

Wow...you should really sell your services though, your dreams sounds amazing!

I would watch something like that on TV haha.

I think dreams can have meaning from time to time, but it can be something as trivial as "I had pasta today" and so I dream about going to an Italian restaurant, or something like the dream I just shared. But no joke, there were a few times where my dreams foreshadowed the kind of job I was about to get.

    1. I interviewed with a cancer research company for an internship position which my dad found for me. Before getting and offer from them, I had a dream that I went to adopt a dog at a shelter. There were a ton of dogs and, out of all of them, I chose of large happy golden retriever. I just left with the dog having my parents pay for it. At the real job, it was a great experience. Everyone was nice, supportive, and the most caring group of people I had ever met.

    2. This time I interviewed with a small company for a web development job. In my dream, I was taking care of this tiny chihuahua. It was covered in blood and I was trying to catch it so I could clean it up, but it just wouldn't come to me and was giving me a really hard time. In real life, this ended up being the worst job I'd ever worked. The company was very small, just 5 people including the boss. We had no microwave, you couldn't be in the bathroom for too long, you had to take your lunch break at a specified time and it was mandatory to take an hour break, and the boss was right next door and if you ended up having a conversation for more than like 5 minutes he would come over and tell us to get back to work. The worst part was I had no idea how much money I was making. He was very vague when he offered me the job and one time I asked him upfront and he gave me an unclear answer. I could go on, but it was terrible.

    3. I had just moved cities and was looking for work. There were 2 places I had interviewed with that seemed promising. One was some kind of information tech company and the other was a biotech company. In my dream I drove up to a really nice mansion. I went to the backyard where there were 2 golden doodles. One of them just walked away but the other one came to me and I gave it some pets. The biotech company ended up hiring me and my time there was also very nice. I learned a ton, the people were great, and it was the best place I had worked at up until that time.

This has only happened to me 3 times with these specific dreams but it makes we wonder if we're actually able to get some insight into the future through dreams. I wanna say these dreams were more like impressions I got from the company during the interview that ended up being true. And, I don't know why they were all dogs.

I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling this way : ) Haha, I guess so. I'd never compare my situation to getting cleaved to death (lol) but maybe on some level I feel like it is a huge drain on my life. I know I just need to give her time to get up on her feet though.

I'd just like to chime in and say that is really interesting and actually makes a lot of sense. I say this because I've always been of the notion that dreams are just that and have little to no hidden meaning to them but you may be starting to convince me otherwise, in which case I'm buggered because my dreams are like Junji Ito and Noel Fielding co-wrote something together. I can't imagine what trouble that spells for me. 😕

You sound so much like me! I can understand how over time it can all get a bit overwhelming and yet you feel a duty to be a good bro. I guess that carries across into the dream where you don't want to watch and yet because everyone else is there you have to do your bit too?

Haha this might be getting too personal but I think responsibility. My sister and I live together right now and she's going through a career transition. She's been at home a lot while looking for work (understandably) and I've been supporting her financially for a lot of things. I love the girl and, honestly, couldn't ask for a better roommate, but I guess I've been kind of stressed about it since I don't really have any alone time (I'm a huge introvert).
