    Didn't see this thread until now.

    As a long-time Vocaloid listener and avid Project Diva player, "Promise" is definitely one of the top songs in my book. (Spent a month trying to perfect it on Extreme)

    The eurobeat "Night" series was also super fun to listen to. 

     

    To top it all off, he had recently composed "Stella-rium" which was sung beautifully by Kano. 

     

    Him and Deadball-P were my addiction in early HS... Really sad news...

    It doesn't sound bad, but I'll need to listen to the full song (like most of their releases) to entirely judge. 

    I guess I'm not used to DIV in party mode since SECRET NIGHT is my least favorite by them.

     

    Edit:

    After giving it a couple listens I guess I can dig it.

    The chorus came across awkwardly at first (kinda empty), but I think by the latter end of the song everything will tie up nicely.

    I feel pretty lukewarm about this season...
    As a connoisseur of cliche rom-com harem series (no matter how torturous they are)
    I can't speak for everyone, but here is what I'm going to try and pick up:

    Yuru Yuri S3:
    Same as S1 and S2. It's a feel-good comedy series so I'm pretty indifferent about it all.

    Lance N' Masques:
    I'm not too big a fan of the art-style. One of the many "knight" plots this season.

    Heavy Object:
    J.C. Staff... Please let this be a proper Dengeki Bunko adaptation. Actually looking forward to this since Index 3 doesn't look like it's gonna happen...

    Gakusen Toshi Asterisk:
    I don't like the Infinite Stratos parallels, and the plot reminds many of World Break...
    While that combination sounds nightmarish, I'm hoping to be proven otherwise.

    Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry:
    I'm reading the manga, and I'm kinda looking forward to this.
    It's kinda generic, but as long as the pacing is decent (akin to the LN) I should be fine with it.

    Shomin Sample:
    I'm reading this manga as well... While the plot is unique, it's your generic harem series.
    In it for the characters and slew of references. (Hopefully it sides more with the LN, but I have a good feeling this is going to be rushed)

    Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shita ga Umatteiru:
    I like paranormal and detective-work stuff, so this sounds promising

    Taimadou Gakuen 35 Shiken Shoutai:
    Again, this is the 4th magic knight series on this list... "You're killin me, Smalls!"
    I'm going to reluctantly pick this up like all the others (drops are imminent)

    Hidan no Aria AA:
    This is exactly the Railgun-Index scenario. The first season completely tanked and they couldn't afford to continue
    the existing series. This spinoff is going to attract hordes b/c of the all female cast.

    S1's of K, Owari no Seraph, Underwater Ray Romano, and GochiUsa are on my backlog so I probably won't pick them
    up until the BDs are released.

    I'm disappointed in the recent influx of 10-minute - 2-minute series, but I guess it's good for smaller studios to test the waters.

    They're like one letter away from DIV, and their logo looks like it's re-arranged from DIV's as well : /. (even though the logo is supposed to be "IV" inside of a circle)
    Although, they would be pretty decent if the vocalist could exercise a bit more control over his voice since the instrumentals sound nice.

    Got two 8 GB sticks for my laptop for a total of 24 GB of onboard RAM.
    I kinda needed some for video rendering and a bit of gimp work, but it became a bit more imperative recently
    since Win 10 is going bonkers with my memory and Chrome/Chromium are being RAM hogs. 

    It's a bit overkill now, but maybe I can use it for a VM or a Ramdisk (idk what I would use with a Ramdisk though).

    It feels like forever being absent from the forum... (even though I've been lurking/anonymously fulfilling requests on VS3 [seems like there's been a slump recently])

    Nevertheless, while college has been a pain-in-the-ass (with periods of procrastination/indecision/table-flipping/etc.) I've still been pretty loyal to Visual Kei in general.
    (even though my favorites are ALWAYS disappearing with the unrelenting "disband" curse of 20XX). 

    As I'm getting closer to graduating, my classes have eased up a bit (screw general courses) .
    So, while I probably can't be here 100%, I'll try to provide where I can in releases and not-so-groundbreaking commentary.


    I should also change my username to "colorfuljinsei" since I may or may not have re-named many of my accounts under such o_o. How do you do that again?

    The past month or so I've been having to allocate a lot of my time to priorities and whatnot. I had a lot of things planned, but having
    gotten to the strenuous bit of my major w/ classes there's a lot of things I want to do on here that I can't currently do with the way
    everything is scheduled.

    While I might drop in every now and then, I'll be inactive (like I have been) until sometime next year.
    I apologize for any inconveniences I may have caused the past few weeks,
    but I want to come back when I have everything sorted out.

    Was expecting a different kind of "BANG" heh... jk they're not レイヴ =P.

     

    In a seriousness though, this sounds fantastic. I was confused with the dancing initially, but I started to realize how well it compliments the whole song.

    These guys are good at contrasting elements in their songs.

    Ooh, Alaska.

    It has a really clean look, but unfortunately as a late-night watcher the 

    white would probably kill my eyes after finishing an episode/movie.

    (backlight could always be adjusted)

    I would have to say it is one of my favorites aesthetically though.

    It's weird being a Filipino-white mutt. While I grew up with an "Asian" set of ideals, lifestyle, family, friends, food, etc., I still feel like an outsider due to my appearance and social relations.

    If I don't shave or have a bit of scruff I'm Pakistani or somewhere from the Middle East, shaved I get either Spanish (not a bad guess) or some random SEA country (even better guess). 
    When I've explained to some of my acquaintances in the past about my interests, they're confused why I'm "obsessed" or "so interested" with Japanese culture as a Filipino (typically they

    have no idea what a "Filipino" is to which they judge by my appearance). While I find race should have no limitations on cultural interests, and ignorance (in a non-negative sense) is unavoidable

    and should be taken into consideration, it's weird explaining something that came so natural to me growing up. On the flip-side, other than my childhood  I've also never been in an Asian bubble. (simply out of demographics)

    As a college student I chill with my southern white friends, and in no way have I even been treated as the token Asian-guy because I'm just Dan to them (reason why I'm close friends with them).

    While it's been fun, it's difficult that I can't really talk to people about what I'm most passionate about which is why I'm really glad this community exists since everyone converses about this type of stuff
    like something out of an everyday conversation without a need for "reasoning".  It's still a bit lonely sometimes though :P...
