Wow! That's awesome. Although, I did see the new DVD they released, which also had some old songs, and Satochi doesn't quite sing the same: It's much more lovely, which I understand. I'm glad they're playing old songs again in their lives though. lol at dekiai XD

Even though I think Zecchou is 1000+x better than GO, I don't expect anything worthwhile coming from them anymore. They've pretty much abandoned the sound they started with and their 'experimenting' since around MUSIC has led them nowhere interesting or innovative in my opinion (except for [nobody] off "NOW"). The only thing I found good in Zecchou bang was the hard rockish part (kinda reminded me of Kaisen Sengen), Satoshi's voice, and the "aasdfaoweingse zecchou bang" part. But, I hope things like the "Kaisen Sengen" part mean they're thinking about old fans too and finding ways to combine their core sound with their new style. If there's a little more of that in their new single, I'll consider them "ALIVE" and not in their own little "DEAD WORLD"

Covers for [METEOR] have been released. Come oooooooon July 25th

I love this. So much. Because that's what I feel. But, I also think it's a major step up from [GO] (which I hated). I can even hear some of their core sounds as far back as [13s Reborn] in the yelling part (reminds me a little of [kaisen sengen]). It's not much, but maybe they're thinking about their old fans too. I hope they are and incorporate more of their older sound into their new music.

So if anyone is curious Sadie uploaded a preview PV for [METEOR] on their OHP. It seems that they are now embracing the brighter and kinda poppier side (compared to [Rosario]). I don't know what this means for a future album, but it actually does sound really nice and the chorus is really catchy.

[bLASTED ANIMALS] actually sounds quite nice! The guitars in the chorus and after remind me of their indie days sound. I'm glad they haven't completely abandoned their core sound. Agitator doesn't sound half bad either. Thanks for posting the video!

Soooo in case anyones wondering, here are what the cover looks like. Type A Type B I don't mind the covers (except the font for "Bang") but I'm personally not really looking forward to this release.

I'm hoping the packaging for the LE is nice. Toxic's wasn't that cool and I didn't really care for the photo book, even if it was high quality. Do something innovative like Nil's velour packaging or Dim's holographic slipcase!! Those are amazing!

    School Food Punishment nooooooo!!

Both B-sides aren't that exciting to me, nothing new, on the generic side. The choruses just don't quite do it enough for me either. Also, I'm kinda getting tired of Ryouga using "Black Music" in his lyrics, but that's not related. On the other hand, [bLASTED ANIMALS] is warming up to me. It's a catchy and fun tune. I think my initial disappointment came from expecting a sound that was like the covers, dark and intense. It sounds like it's gonna be fine.

I guess I'm more swayed by the music than lyrics. ^^" You're right though, lyrics are also important. I just don't want them (or any band) to completely abandon their core sounds like Mucc and Girugamesh did. I can take change, but I dunno about abandonment.

felony is one of their best songs. The lyrics have nothing to do with the music and felony is a million times better than this.

this song..this style...If they keep going this direction I'm not sure how much longer I'll be able to follow them. They were so great on [Abnormal Head Machine] and [felony], and even the black minis. I guess as long as they don't pull a complete Mucc...

Maybe the bonus CD will be bunch of re-recordings of old songs they did, kinda like 12012.

whaaaaa! so cool! I dunno about the regular edition though. a little too corny for my taste

Just pre-ordered the limited edition. I hope it delivers.

Okay, I tried really hard to find a thread of this already, but didn't find one. I know this single is really just a re-release of "Red Hot Cobra", but it's got a new song too so I thought why not. Also, I've never heard the original release. RADICAL HYSTERIA This is a fun and simple rock out song with some nice guitar work. I dunno, it's not anything special in my opinion, but it's a fun listen. 7/10 COBRA Such a good song by born IMO. It really draws my attention with the slow, creeping intro, and then explodes into a groovy guitar cadence. The rest is history. I really enjoy that the song has this powerful atmosphere, like I'm walking through a heavily foggy desert. Ryouga sings powerfully in this song and adds more depth as well with his 'whoa's. All the elements in the song help to compliment each other and, rather than just being a cool song, create an audio experience that's delicious ear candy. 10/10 IN CREATURE So, my first thought is what up with Ryouga's scream in the beginning? I kinda like the raw quality of it, but it sounds a bit comical. Anyways, the song overall is okay. It's not entirely special with anything new from Born, but it's pretty catchy. Also, I can really hear the power of Ryouga's vocals. I dunno why, but I find myself coming back to this song time after time. 8/10 So, this single is good. [RADICAL HYSTERIA] is a decent song that's fun to rock out to, [COBRA] is a masterpiece that creates it's own universe, and [iN CREATURE] is a welcome new addition that adds a catchy element to this single with their newer sound. I would recommend this single for any born fan and anyone starting to get into born. One really gets to know their serious side, fun side, and even their old and new side. 8.3/10

School Food Punishment have always been good at creating catchy melodies. and this single is no exception. [How to go] reminds me a lot of [RPG] in that it's exciting and has a lot of energy. One of my favorite things about the song, though, is Yumi's use of falsetto (It's so lovely!) Although, I do feel like her vocals sound a bit more reserved, but maybe it's cause it's 2AM right now o_O [Kaeru] is my favorite track on the single (actually ^^"). I love the synth parts and the chorus is super catchy. The song has the qualities of a ballad as far as melody, but the song really moves. The contrast is actually really nice and refreshing (reminds me of kakenukeru). I love the cadence of acoustic guitar plucks (or maybe it's the synth...probably...) in the chorus a lot too. *Okay, so I actually did my research and it turns out this song is a cover. I listened to the original and I don't...really...like it... Considering this, I like SFP's version much better and they did a great job making it their own. It's a lot different than previous songs in my opinion. I kind of do wish that they either created a new song, covered a different song, or remixed one of their own songs, but I think I just need time for it to grow on me. Overall I laaaaaav the single. Then again, there isn't one SFP release that I don't love, and almost one SFP song that I don't love. (I kinda don't like [hikari] on "PROG-ROID", but that's it.

RED LINE - Iiii didn't fancy this one too much. [ever] from 'gain' had the same formulaic sound but still had a mature sound with strong sounding Sadie roots. [RED LINE] was almost poppy and got boring for me and lacked alot of sound from their roots. I did really like Mao's vocals though. 6/10 RODEO SCREAM - What is this introoo o_O. I like the electric part after it though ^^ After it I really only like everything except the chorus, which is bummer since, well....I like everything else. The chorus is just not memorable in melody and I was never a fan of Sadie's back up vocals. They sound a bit kiddish to me. 6/10 MOROU - I love Mao's new menacing growls from [Rosario]. His prayer chanting in the song is much appreciated too. Sadie's gotten reaaally good at composing music. [MOROU] has a very "DUM SPIRO SPERO" atmosphere to it, from the growls down to the eerie lone guitar plucks, and one notices the growing complexity of Sadie's music. Overall I'd say it's nothing we haven't really heard from Sadie, but it adds something new-ish with some [Rosario] sounds while staying true to their roots. 8/10 Skeleton Bug - I laaaaaaaaav the guitar cadence. It's super catchy and playful. When Mao first comes in my first thoughts were. "Cause we gon' rock this club. We gon' go all night. We gon' light it up like it's dynamite." via [Dynamite] by TAIO CRUZ ^^" erm, anyways... My favorite part is where Mao sings long tones followed by a small rap. The chorus is a bit lack luster, but the song holds together well with enough cohesive elements that it's fun to listen too. 8/10 daydream - Mao melts my heart with his vocals again. But, I feel like the song is very repetitive and not very dynamic. 7/10 koe - Probably one of my new favorite Sadie songs. It's such a different style for Sadie to play and they do it so well. Mao's vocals are beautiful and powerful. The guitars are very fluid and even sound like glittering rain in the chorus. I really like the talking segments; Mao talks with such emotion and follows the music that it adds rather than detracts from the song. 10/10 Overall, I felt like Sadie did a good job on this mini-album. It was definitely much lighter compared to their past releases, but they retained their roots for the most part. I feel like this is kinda what "COLD BLOOD" should have been; It takes elements from their "new" electronic style and assimilates that into their hard rock roots. "COLD BLOOD" IMO seperated the 2 so that you got 2 totally differnt sounds on the same album. "RED LINE" at least sounds pretty similar all through out. Not my favorite Sadie release, but I still consider "RED LINE" a success and am excited to see what Sadie will do next. 7.5/10
