I think Moi dix Mois' artwork has always had a bit of a cheesy factor, but this one certainly isn't as bad as Beyond the Gate.

Sorry, I can't agree. This whole psuedo "jazz" (necessary quotes) thing is like the oldest trick in the VK handbook. Along with ballads and the repetitive-heavy-song-with-grunting, this swing/"jazz" shit is like the number one go-to style for bands that are "experimenting" outside their comfort zone genre. But when every other band does it, it's hardly experimenting anymore... But I'm not even saying that I necessarily dislike that style. It just so happens, Lycaon did their version of it pretty damn poorly in my opinion (and others' opinions as well) Anyway, this was not a good release. SE was just... ugh. EROS, everyone has already said it. PINK FILTH was filth. About as bad as EROS, but in a different way. MARY was 'aight. I liked some of the guitar parts. Shows they haven't totally gone to shit yet. I'm overall most disappointed with Yuuki. I used to find him a refreshingly adequate vocalist in this fairly tired vk style. But, man, he just annoys the shit out of me now... Back to the drawing board Lycaon.

Yep, another Shiina Ringo fan here. Love her now, but it did take me a while admittedly! I gave shouso strip and the beloved KZK each a listen and wasn't really "craving" more (blasphemous I know!). But two of my friends are HUGE fans of her, so I persisted and finally listened to Heisei Fuuzoku. That did it for me. Now,definitely my favorite female Japanese vocalist. Although I must check out EGO-WRAPPIN' as well. Those videos CAT5 posted definitely seemed like something I could really get into!

I'm sure it's nothing outside of the usual "musical differences, but we're still friends! This is actually a positive decision for the band!" type thing.

I love me some heartless, but this cover art is pretty damn awful.
  6. fitear1590

Whoa! That's awesome! Banzon was great in faralis. A very technical drummer, despite always playing in these really small indie bands.
  7. fitear1590

Good luck with "changing the scene" nega-stroika.
  8. Thanks for the release date trombe!
  9. fitear1590

Are they goddamn kidding with another live-only single? Glad to hear about their digital one though.
  10. fitear1590

Haha, I was gonna say the same zesshoku. Sounds very confident indeed.
  11. ^hehe, me too. He should be quite noticeable! Looking forward to this so much.

Missed the season 6 premiere, but yes, this show is absolutely awesome! It's definitely one of the best comedies out there right now. Charlie is my favorite character. He's so damn hilarious.

Jeezus, chianti... "I don't even know what to fucking say... about this ssshhhhhit!" That was fantastic, haha. Thanks for making my day!

"Previews" of two of the tracks can be heard playing in the background of their ridiculous instructional dance videos. shibitobana: zetsu wo nozomu:
  15. Damn them for disbanding. This seems pretty promising. That live video of Horizon on YT is pretty impressive! But crap, all of the songs listed won't be included?
  16. fitear1590

Haha, agreed. Oh, the "creative" titles the Japanese can come up. Should be Dessert Apple!!
  17. fitear1590

Wow, thanks for getting to this video so fast jono! AND IT TOTALLY DOES sound like super smash bros by the end. Not a bad thing at all, might I add. I approve!
  18. fitear1590

Still can't get over "Desert Apple." What a random title, haha. And congrats to Masashi! I was kinda hoping he'd finally become an official member.

Thanks guys! My friend actually listens to Lacrimosa, so I've heard a few songs by them. They're good. Subliminal, don't worry about the links here, I saw the old post before the switch. Thanks for your efforts, haha. I liked Virginia Jetzt! the best. And Champ, I believe I've actually seen some older music videos by die Arzte before. Do they have some video where they are like fighting the Lara Croft (Tomb Raider) video game character or something?
  20. Hey, I apparently posted this on the other forum after everything was copied over here, so I'm remaking it! I'm a German student and I'm looking for more practice, so I thought listening to German music could help. I already got one response from SUBLIMINAL on the other forum (thank you!) but basically what I'm looking for is musicians or bands: -that are IN GERMAN (not looking for bands that are singing in English) -that generally SING (don't need a lot of harsh vocals stuff. The point is I'm trying to understand what is being sung) -is NOT Rammstein, Tokio Hotel, or any rap/hip hop -is preferably but limited to the following genres: pop/rock, "indie rock," alternative, or any good classic pop (like Frank Sinatra type stuff, but in German of course) And like I said, it's certainly not limited to those genres. I'm pretty open minded, so just recommend me some good ol' German language music! (youtube links are good ) Vielen Dank im Voraus!

I can't even imagine the mindset of someone when they're doing something like this. pretty fucked up
