As far as I can tell, Type B has every song they did EXCEPT for the new tracks on ARK, the song 春夏秋冬, and the Koutei Penguin single. No real loss their, imo. And of course, they aren't including the 23 different versions of チョコサンドビスケットクリーム; probably just the newest one.

I'm totes down as well. I haven't turntabled in a while, so this'll be fun!

Hmmm, I'll just tell you my favorite songs, period, haha. -青 (little senobi version. FUCK THE RERECORDING!) -Plastic Art -one and only (Recording is actually quite good! I liked the way they changed it.) -NOAH (a classic) -4F9 (omg, I'm just rediscovering this song. I don't know why I didn't love this one before) -panorama (so cheesily good) -HANA -STEADY -teenageZ -マイガール (the intro reminds me so much of Katamari Damacy music) I haven't listened to any of their singles since they've been major, so I'm guessing I'm missing at least a few good b-sides. Gonna check those out soon. How about you, Maiku?

Of course I am happy they have a new release! I was almost about to gripe that they are doing another multi-type release, but I at least appreciate that the tracklists have completely different songs (besides the title track).

Maiku, you're a big fan of them so I'd like to hear your opinion on this: What did you think of the re-recordings on their singles collection? Was it just me, or was Yusa affecting his voice in a weird (not good weird) way? I remember in particular, the new version of 青 was definitely ruined by his voice, imo. Also, I've really neglected them since Brave New World. I didn't dislike the album; I think I just forgot about them afterwards, haha. I'm gonna try to catch up on all this new shiz.

Art.s.Note The style is pretty similar the other bands I posted, haha, but I think Art.s.Note is probably my favorite of the three. Good vocalist and dramatic/catchy music. They have two releases so far, the "心模様" single and the "Style of Art" mini album. My favorite song is probably the first song in the second video, "僕の証". OHP z68HRi227a0 K7nQW-fTYs8

How... bizarre and sad. Like others have said, Kiryu are one of my favorite current VK bands, so I'll be extremely disappointed if they are disbanding.

Although the Versailles last.fm shoutbox often descends into utter stupidity, I thought Bonjour Honey, a forum dedicated to Versailles/Lareine, was really nice. I became an active member there, around the same time that I joined the original TW. Most of the people were really cool/ level-headed. The mods/most-active members always brought really up-to-date info about the band's upcoming releases and stuff. Plus, there was hardly any drama, ever. But, as far as I know, the forum seems to have died/ been hacked or something. Maybe it moved and I just don't know the new link, haha.

Glad to see 88 kasyo junrei, salyu x salyu and kimbra! Of the stuff I wasn't familiar with, nobie and THE ACT WE ACT seem the most intriguing from your Japanese list. THE ACT WE ACT especially, since this is what I wanted natsumen to sound like. I also want to check out Felicity Groom, mr. gnome, and Shona Foster from the non-Japanese list, since they seem right up my alley, and I seemed to have "ignored" my "western" tastes a bit in 2011.

Damn... I didn't really like their current direction, but this is still a bit disappointing. Regardless, I'll be following whatever band the guitarist gets into next.

Yeah... that was one thing that was missing in 21 for me: those simple guitar-only tracks like that and "crazy for you".
