I'm more broke than I expected and haven't ordered yet, so still going by the nico broadcast. I think I'll have a more visceral response to the album once I have it in decent quality, but anyway, let's do a track by track:

「M」World Order · Don't care about it one bit, but MERRY intros have always been hit or miss for me anyway.
MASS CONTROL · Love the melody in the verses. The thing is, I would enjoy the chorus so much more if I could be shouting along "tengoku harakiri" without turning the whole apartment building against me... I'm trying to say, I still think this is a better live song and majorly envy everyone who can go to MERRY concerts. But it's good anyway, sends me back to their old tracks.
犬型真性MASOCHIST · Gara's lyrics and Yuu's guitar make this one for me, not their best composition, but it's catchy and has been growing on me.
gaudy · Another one for the lives. I imagine I will listen to it when it comes up in the album, but won't ever specifically want to play it. Instrumental is on-point and everything, but that's the minimum I expect of MERRY anyway.
平日の女 -A面- · Still love it like the day it was released and think it's one of the best MERRY songs ever (certainly in recent years). Although I wonder if type B wouldn't fit the tone of the album better. But then again type A's instrumentation is so, so beautiful...
Black flag symptom · One of the most immediate songs on the album, reminds me of Identity a bit and I like it just as much.
傘と雨 · This one is rerecorded, right? Or am I just being delusional? Somehow it sounds more defiant now. Another gem in any case.
F.J.P · Nero!! This one is as if someone picked my brain and extracted the formula for the perfect song to get me hype. Guaranteed eternal replay.
Happy life –reprise- · Like the song, not impressed with the new recording.
SIGHT GLASS · This one's for the history books, the day ero-guro MERRY and female-point-of-view MERRY converged. And it's glorious as expected. Are you going to collab with cali-gari one day?
エムオロギー · Ah, what do I do with this one. It's trying so hard to be grand and anthemic, but it is so damn beautiful too. I think I'll love and cherish it.

So all in all, I am one happy fangirl - but I would be even happier if someone deposited a few hundred into my bank account. Anyone?

Eu tô ouvindo basicamente as bandas que quero tentar ver durante a viagem, basicamente as bandas mais antigas que eu sempre gostei: BUCK-TICK, MERRY, Plastic Tree, etc.
 
Eu e uma amiga vamos tentar ver o ラミエル, então vou tentar pelo menos ouvir um pouco, mas pelas fotos acho que não é  muito a minha. E o fato deles copiarem o nome Lamiel é um grande strike contra. Não se pode usar o nome de uma grande banda querida assim.

The original version doesn't sound too far off from DEG's recent material anyway. They kind of played it safe. 

This tweet from a girl who had a bad experience with Lawson canceling her tickets is making the rounds on Japanese Twitter. Although this might be a rare situation, just something to note in case someone here experiences the same trouble.
 
 
To summarize:
 
She got an e-mail that her pre-sale ticket reservation was approved and paid for them at Lawson. After that, she then receives an e-mail that her tickets have been cancelled, so she calls Lawson customer service to figure out what's up. The female operator tells her that her tickets were cancelled that morning, and assumes she cancelled them. The girl insists she wasn't the one that cancelled them, has already paid, and asks if the tickets can be re-validated/re-issued. The operator says that this isn't possible, and the girl asks if she can look into the details/status of the cancellation. The operator obliges, and the girl is switched to someone higher up, this time a male operator. 
 
The male operator tells her that it will take up to two weeks to look into the situation, but even if the reason is found, the tickets still will not be able to be re-validated/re-issued. The only thing she can do is try another pre-sale or wait for the general sale. He also states that they usually don't refund ticket sales, but since she didn't cancel the tickets herself, they will refund her if she sends the receipt.
 
Lawson calls her back a second time, this time a higher up representative than before. He tells her they didn't find any evidence she had cancelled the tickets herself. He also tells her customer service has been notified in detail about the situation, however it doesn't change the fact that they cannot re-validate/re-issue the tickets. They tell her to feel free to share her story online, etc. in case there are people with similar issues.
 
They call her back a third time, to report that it was some kind of system error that caused her approved ticket reservation to disappear from the system. They apologize and tell her to try again for the general sale tickets. There's nothing she can do so she has no choice but to let it go.
 
 
However, what's interesting is that from this, a lot of commenters have reported about instances where Lawson has double-booked tickets, given out incorrect reservation numbers  (numbers that are too long to fit into the Loppi reservation machine), given tickets for areas that were off-limits/not being used on the day of, and failed to send tickets out in a timely manner.
 
Some events/artists only sell through Lawson, so this is obviously worrisome for many. Anyways, might be something to keep in mind should you experience any strange errors when reserving live tickets.

Finally, finally got to watch it today, the new album is everything, don't know why I thought it could be anything else anyway. F.J.P is the song, and the band will have so much fun performing Black flag symptom and MASS CONTROL, I can already see it. The acoustic set in the end was a great surprise, and I loved seeing everyone in such high spirits throughout.

Their videos just keep getting more inexplicable, I've given up.

Anyway this saddens me but tbh their latest mini was horrible after nijuujinkaku things went down hill imo honnou was still cool but thats it I do hope they'll follow new projects in the future

I listened to the whole album on Niconico since they broadcasted the trial listening event today and I absolutely adore it! So punky, so Merry, such an energy boost! Who needs coffee, just listen to this album first thing in the morning. The only song I felt a bit meh about was gaudy, but I can see it growing on me. Black flag symptom was my favourite based on the previews and of course it's a Kenichi song. Here are the credits for all the songs, in case someone's interested:

It's been a little too quiet here! Since this year marks the 20th anniversary of Plastic Tree's major debut let's share and talk about all of our favorite songs! With what they've been doing to commemorate their anniversary, such as performing older songs and basically recreating old school pura I'm sure all of our memories are overflowing like crazy, especially for longer-termed fans. So let's reflect back and share a few favorites. What do the songs mean to you and were there any special memories attached to them? Or maybe it was the first pura song you fell in love with? Fangirl all you want. Since they have a huge discography maybe you can shed some light on a few songs as well.
 
I have a ton of favorites and will probably keep on posting here, but here's a few to start with:
 
絶望の丘 (Zetsubou no Oka) - This was probably the first song of theirs I fell in love with. I just really loved the bass lines and decided that I'd learn it someday so I listened to the hell out of it. (still haven't learned it but oh well...) And of course, I love Ryutaro's sweet child-like voice.
 
ぬけがら (Nukegara) - Another one of my early favorites. The chorus really got me and reading the lyrics made my heart ache. In the chorus the lines say "If these aren’t your true feelings, then don’t do any of these things anymore". Just a bittersweet song about a sad breakup. There's a neat guitar solo from Akira too.
 
藍より青く (Ai Yori Aoku) - This one is a B-side from their single 真っ赤な糸 (Makka na Ito) and was one of my first songs. It gives me all those nostalgic summer feels and brings me back to those times when I first got into Plastic Tree (and vk in general). The guitars are relaxing and it's very nice to listen to.
 
最終電車 (Saishuu Densha) - I loved this song so much back then I wanted to animate an mv for it lol. And I actually gave an attempt and made a tiny gif (with my noob animation skills) back in 2010. xD.....ahh those times when I had too much time on my hands lol. The song gives off a very bittersweet feeling and I imagined that the story would be illustrated in a cute chibi look with a somber night setting. Also, I drew Ryutaro from one of my favorite photoshoots of him. Wonder if anyone here would recognize it.....? I guess it's a little hard to tell though.

Plastic Tree has announced that their major debut 20th Anniversary DVD, "1997.09.15" (6500 yen, 120 min) will be released in October. Footage will feature the band's reproduction of their major debut performance at their live on June 25, 2017 at YOKOHAMA Bay Hall.

This is such retarded fangirl fanfic it boggles my mind people actually take these kind of "leaks" seriously..., Yeah, a scene so predominantly male-dominated is fully rigged with sexual interchange between most of it's somewhat famous players, riiiiight.

This album will be released in spring 2018. There will also be 4 dates for Halloween called "HALLOWEEN 17 SPOOKY BOX 2" which can be seen in the images. The lives on 2017.10.25/30 will have the concept of Abyss while the lives on 2017.10.28/31 will have the concept of LUCY.
