~ Just downloaded the 'Dystopia' single - I'm impressed ~ that specific old VK feel is pretty damn authentic, I haven't heard sth like that for ages - I'm looking forward to hearing the upcoming album

While i agree with the majority said here i have one thing to say. "Get to know her before asking her out on a date" how do you suppose you get to know somebody? well... you go out on a date with them. Not every date even has to been seen as a "I'm looking to mingle" kind of date. Maybe it would be better to not call it a date and just ask to go out as friends somewhere and you would have had a better chance. But then again i honestly think she just wasn't interested.

I don't understand the setup so it's 5 songs in total, 1 new song, and a re-recorded symphonic version of  louis? Doesn't feel like an album to me but if the lack of quantity means better quality I'm all for it.

Was dystopia re-recorded since previous release? I think i liked the older one more cuz the unclear voice.
And about merry-go-arround i loved the elements that rly remind old school vkei songs - those "arghhh" growls and then those "ouuuhs". And what was used to get the bird cage drum clap sound?
More or less i enjoyed this release. Better than actual vkei singles nowadays, lol.

I liked this a lot more than I thought I would: it seemed like it only rehashed Masquerade in one part and it was a lot more Lareine-ish in terms of song structure than I had originally expected. 
 
The samples of "Bastille" seemed like a huge mess though, so I am pretty concerned.

All i can say is i don't know what you people were expecting when they announced this. It sounds good and i think they've captured the atmosphere of old vk really well. I don't understand why people are so critical of anything new and act as if their old songs are perfect little gems and nothing can be done to improve them. I've heard bands pull off the whole "Lo-fi" thing better too, Madeth gray'll and Misery come to mind.

I wish someone would teach this kind of scream very particular of Visual Kei on Youtube.
 

I've seen that kind of stuff done elsewhere just with really old / lofi microphones

You can buy ones custom made for that kinda sound as far as I know

Maybe even an old half-dead megaphone or something

Funny thing is a tin can could actually come in handy!

Moulin Rouge is such a Lareine-throwback (Fuyu Tokyo anyone?), I love it.
 
Also gives me a chance to be all hipster and laugh at all the Versailles fan younglings that are crying now "Oh no, Kamijosama needs to be all metulz and dark and aristocraticy again!"
 
(Don't get me wrong, I really liked Versailles, but the symphonic metal thing has gotten pretty stale at the end, so I like he's doing some different styles again.)

Wow, I completely take back my prejudices against this song before it was released.
 
Love the music and the melody in KAMIJO's singing.
That blond guitarrist makes it sexy...
 
By the way, Jupiter is totally out of my radar. KAMIJO's work is by far more interesting to me.

"Metamorphose" I've seen this word used at least ten times for vk songs but its a cool word so i don't blame them. I think I'll use it for a song name some day too lol.

Sorry. I wrote a 60 page thesis on visual kei marketing to the 'bangya culture' for my international business degree. I'm trying to be as concise as possible. I suck at it.

We have found a new member/composer for the band and are working on an album but may be looking for a bass player if anyone is interested. We just ask that you have your own recording equipment and can show us a demo of some sort of your playing.
 
Here's a demo of our first song. It's just the beginning and this song will be recorded again for the album. Still this is an idea of the sound we're going for. But there will be a lot of variety in the album.

Well I've met some few people that have said just that. A lot of people DO listen to music on youtube primarily. In fact I've had some people ask me to upload some of my own work onto youtube lol.

I like these kind of band pictures more actually. They look more natural and less photoshoped to hell.
