Kyo is looking much more "visual" lately.

I'd say I'm a mix of bi-curious and mostly straight. But the human body disgusts me and I'd say I'm leaning towards "Other" more and more. (As in love in the afterlife and beyond this physical realm.) My idea of beauty is out of this world but can be achieved by some humans with the right amount of makeup and other things. They still have human parts though. I'm sometimes attracted to humans still but sometimes i am disgusted by it. I wouldn't say I'm asexual though or contemplating this. I'm complicated... lol

Yeah well I've already seen a few bands try it with some success. I don't think its the "now" but more the future like i said. Japan will eventually give in. Its also a good way to know where a band is financially and i think people are more willing to give when they know a specific set target amount of money needed to fund a project. I don't think a band should be entirely dependent on this method but rather use it to fund big releases and tours and the like.

Its more like funding for a tour/album or something like that. Its better than conditional disbandments. Or being constrained to the pressure of a major label.

I personally prefer their looks during this time. I think it was during their debut? Anyway a little off topic sorry

But its just a pv, do many musicians actually play their instruments on music videos? I thought it was just pretend. I'm sure they usually try and make it look like they're playing the right notes and things though.

I loved transparent shine too i would love for more songs like that if at all possible.

I like sui i really do but for the most part i always felt if he was gone both metis and megaromania's music would be better for it. I like his voice but i feel they could do much better... I do like his deeper vocals though.

I dislike newer visual kei for a lot of the same reasons i dislike newer anime and many other newer things. Its the emphasis on production and commercialism over artistic expression. When something has been tampered with too much in the studio it loses that magical personal touch in my opinion. I understand music is a business but its also an art form. I feel if visual kei could broaden its demographic some and took more advantage of the opportunities the internet can offers It would see more success. like making CD sales more accessible to non-Japanese fans, Testing the waters with Digital Releases and Crowd funding, etc. I feel crowd funding is the future. Older visual kei might not have been as polished and the production might not be up to par but i feel it was more genuine in sound and overall style. The themes and aesthetics were also more radical and extreme or at least it felt that way to me. Bands today just feel too casual for my taste.

It seems more like Megaromania with new members than Lin with new members Kind of wishing i could hear misery's guitar work without sui for a change...

I think the atmosphere of the video really doesn't go well with the song as much... still seems a little interesting. Wonder what direction they'll go with their next album.
