Bar Paradox will hold a special event on August 25th for its celebrative 15 years of existence. The main act of the event is a special unit consisting of Riku and Kisaki.

Hey folks!

The time for a new Trade-Off is near and this time, we want your opinions on what themes we should go with. If you want to submit one, just reply to this post with your idea and why it would be a good theme for the trade-off. There are no rules but just certain things to keep in consideration:
 
The theme should not be too restrictive or too general. It doesn't have to be "spring related" You can be as detailed in your description of the event as you want. Look at @CAT5's latest Anime Theme Trade-Off if you want a good idea of a detailed description.  
I'll leave this open for one week. The staff will discuss a theme we like and announce it at the end of the month.

The last admirable release of the revival-scene must have been Grimoire by forCroiX-フォークロア-  in 2016 — they release such a terrific album only to disappear right after? Pity. 
 
Nowadays I only somewhat keep up with Crucifixion and ラヴェーゼ (labaiser). The trend with these bands is to quickly vanish and it saddens me because I am generally not that interested in the current heading of the Visual kei scene. I may be hopeful and see Mirage's semi-revival spark up some fireworks with the younger musicians, like it or not but they are still incredibly important and looked up to.

I know for certain these few specific people are definitely faking it. They only mildly attempt to identify as male towards their friends, while they're completely just girls when you talk to them one-on-one and aren't even trying to pretend to be transgender, they're just not and it simply seems more like a dress-up party with an edge. I also know of one girl I met online who ended up living with a trans-man who was willing to get her through the hormone process, but she suddenly backed out before all the appointments because she admittedly wasn't transgender but just liked dressing up as a tomboy and wanted to see how far she could take it.
 
I know being obsessed with a certain visual image can perhaps influence thoughts these people think are cool, but to lie to other people while you're just a normal cisgendered woman (in this case) personally? It makes no sense to me, isn't it insulting or at least upsetting the community when people fake transgenderism? 

Go back a year and there I found myself in a similar situation. Our town isn’t necessarily big, but not the kind where you know everyone either and the people that I knew weren’t quite the ones with similar interests and friendships therefore waned rather rapidly. 
 
Until not so long ago I didn’t have friends around but I started hanging out with the same people more regularly and it wasn’t something I was seeking for at the moment. I met them during concerts in my area and things clicked quite smoothly all of a sudden. Before this I spent most of my time in solitude – during some moments I was desperately looking for connections and relationships but once I gave up that search, things started to come along more naturally because it didn’t feel forced. I enjoy my time alone but it’s definitely nice to not be alone anymore when I need or want someone around. 
 
As is said above, you could try and join a club or attend activities where you’ll meet people with similar interests (for me that’s in metal concerts). Don’t be scared to go alone either, there’s nothing weird about attending a venue, club or bar (whatever is your fancy) alone, it’s quite easy to speak up to people when you have that universal hobby or artists you’re waiting to see.

I am quite sure I am about to offend @YuyoDrift with this, but I absolutely loathed FLCL. If one anime was ever the cause for anxiety attacks due to sensory overload, it would be this one. What a nonsensical, ugly and ill-conceived piece of garbage. Whoever today still claims this to be a 'coming-of-age' masterpiece needs to straighten themselves out; there is absolutely no story, no plot and no secretive and underlying hidden meaning in this whatsoever.
