How much more often is it that you purchase a release after you have heard it? At least, this is what I do. With the tiniest percentage of profit that does go out to a band on their overseas sales, isn't it better to increase that margin by promoting them in every possible way? Hoarding and withholding music from a band's possible customers is —in my opinion— even more unsupportive and elite.

You are not entitled to getting the band's music for free. No one is required to upload their music just because some kid on a music forum is screeching "ELITISM!!!!!!" out their ass. You want it? Buy it your goddamn self instead of bitching about people not sharing music they are not required to share.

Do you know how much stuff I wish was free on the internet but it's not? that doesn't make every fan of the band an elitist "fangirl" for not sharing it. That's life. Grow up.
